Classic Chinese or Korean restaurants do this more often, Occasionally Japanese and South East Asian, but from my experience it's more of a Northern Asia thing, unless you were in the Asian country the restaurant was in, then that's probably the reason lol, only touristy restaurants tend to have silverware and even then... 😂

Sometimes multiple times per visit. I've had a few Karen's try to treat me like their personal servants and after like three items I have to be like, "I'm sorry, I don't work here and I have my own shopping to do", several of them have broken into screaming fits as I walk away. I don't mind grabbing an item for someone, especially an older person, but it's insane how many people see a tall person and go "Ah, yes, my personal shopping valet!".

I never understood the chopstick shaming that people do in the US. But then feel nothing when asking for a spoon and fork for biryani and pulao. You do realise a lot of different cultures eat food with their hands, right?
