Remember, fishing doesn't work in the winter without the upgrade, so its worth taking the man out of the fishing hut until spring to help with construction work

If you're looking for typical German village styles, I'd give One Prod Bavarian's channel a watch. He's building historical villages and explain the history behind the various types. Your village looks more English.

I can't help that haha! I would check his, but don't want to "copy" if you know what I mean

@@TheOnlyL0nzY , I see your point, but I think you'd enjoy it anyway. He describes the rationale behind the layouts, something which is relevant no matter how one lays out a village.

I was going to recommend OPB's channel as well, but since Lonzy has already found the round villages through his own research, he may decide to use them on another map. I do enjoy OPB's explanations of how the types came to be. I think my favorites are the round and the eye shape. Which are yours?

I've found that firewood / charcoal seems to have gone a little nuts

Charcoal is a decent choice now
