Jennifer Hough, this is amazing and so inspiring. We do not necessarily ever find out how we impact any individual, group or the world. It doesn't matter if we ever find out. We just need to know that if we act from a place of love, kindness, &/or compassion we are impacting so many. It ripples out not just to the place we were but to all the places those that were impacted go. Much love and gratitude for you and all you do and for this Movement of One!

Absolutely loved your talk Jennifer! What a powerful message and reminder that no person or act is too small to make a difference! When I stop to think of all of the "Angels" that have shown up in my life, and what that has put in motion as result, I am moved beyond words, and so incredibly grateful. You are speaking great truth for these times. One simple gesture, one kind word, one act of great compassion, is what changes the world. Thank you for this invitation...let it ripple!

I lived this when working in west Africa. In the worst of times, I would say to myself, “I fed a kid in school today.” And that kept me going. Returning to West Africa after 15 years, I visited 2 of the students from small rural villages who were pursuing graduate degrees. In these times, what we do matters. Love this! In West Africa they say “when you give a sack of rice, you don’t know how many grains are inside.” Thank you, Jennifer, for empowering all of us.

Please listen and share Jennifer's wonderful message!! This is a powerful reminder that real change starts with individuals recognizing their own power and potential. She challenges the misconception that only those in positions of authority can make a difference, asserting that "The problem is not that people with power aren't doing something…. The problem is that you think they are the ones in power." Jennifer's blend of personal stories and practical advice illustrates how everyday actions, taken by ordinary people, can collectively lead to significant changes in the world. Her message is both inspiring and actionable, urging us to harness our unique skills and passions to contribute to making someone’s world a better place. ❤💫

We can change the world by recognizing that we you are each a movement of one. And what we contribute no matter how small it may seem to us... has power.

Any friend of Jay is a friend of mine! I have also had my angels. Even when I was a young single homeless mom, I was trying to help people.. I babysat the kids of the moms on drugs in the homeless shelter so my daughter could have playdates. Before and after I was homeless I organized free thanksgiving parties for homeless kids and their families. Now I work to help moms.

This video moved me as much as hearing you in person. Your message reaches into our souls to the knowing of the real reason we are here on planet Earth now. Your words and the energy they carry ignite our individual passions and stir the creativity within us that is just waiting to find and begin or expand our Movement of One. Not only does that make the difference in the world, it makes a huge difference in our own lives that adds joy and fulfillment and removes the need to compare ourselves to anyone else--that removes the need for war. What you are proposing is a recipe for peace.

I have heard your angel story many times in your talks and Get Out Of Your Own Way workshops but it always expands my heart when I hear it again. My movement of one is being a nanny to 2 of my grandchildren who really didn't know me until their parents split and my son needed someone to watch them while he went to work. They now get sad when it's my time to go home and ask when I will be back. My movement of one shows that the love of family transcends all circumstances.❤

If every ONE of us, did just STOPPED, just for a few moments; and thought about it; what CAN just one person do. If enough ONE's do all we can... and if those of us who think "who are we to even think we could make a difference" just did all we could do... It would be like being in a concert hall in the dark, flicking our phone lights on or our lighters aflame and then we could see just a little bit, we could see in the darkness.... and a pathway would be lit that others could follow. Write a comment, like and share this important message, please.
