as someone who worked for a moving company i think his assesment is amazing here. the management of these places in my experience is pretty shitty and will always send less guys than necessary. also his take about the crew is spot on there was a 50+ yr old guy who was skinny as fuck but had been moving for more years than i was alive and he would lift tables over his head he was so strong, but you did leave out the short stocky high school running back who was buff asf. but honestly the scrawny kid who can only move the dolly is par for the course. and they do their best, but a lot of the time its just not enough

I moved last year and hired a moving service. The day of (also my last day allowed at the apartment), they were late like 2-3 hours and I was panicking. Apparently the previous ppl they were helping did not even have stuff packed yet and it was way more stuff than they reported to the quote taker. So it took forever and it is policy I guess not to call while helping move. The movers were actually great and they were freaking happy we had EVERYTHING packed and ready to be moved. Took like 2 hours total for pickup, travel, and drop off. Furniture disassembly and reassembly too. I think NL got the short end of the stick here.

38 mugs is both a reasonable amount of mugs, but also too many (because you do tend to get gifted a lot of mugs). The crazy part of this is that k8 says "38 mugs, 8 of them are not mine and 10 were gifts" which means that AT LEAST 20 of the mugs if not more are mugs that she bought herself, and then she tries to pass it off like most of them are gifts even though she personally purchased at least half of them.
