Man that game was brilliant, i cant even describe how much fun i had with this game. And i didnt even play the story mode, i am talking about the epic battles i had online. Its just such a great multiplayer game, so dynamic, yet well balanced and fun to play if both people know what they are doing. I havent seen anything like it ever since. And while you are playing you soak up game from teddy atlas, who is a brillant philosopher and they really let him do his thing on commentary here. You might even learn a little something about life listening to him playing the game. All his ramblings about boxing apply to the game and also apply to real life. They did their thing on the soundtrack too. In the ufc game i noticed the soundtrack consist mostly of weak, generic, migos style rap. Fight night champion had something like an athmosphere, the music had a certain sound and mostly themes of hunger, ambition and boxing related things like that, this game really had an athmosphere. Epic game man, I think its a shame they didnt make a new one. But its not EAs fault that boxing wasnt popular like that anymore. But they could make a new one i mean with wilder we got a new heavyweight that america is digging unlike the klitschkos who could never captivate america

Initially I found it a little clunky but it was simply that I wasn't used to it, once I got to grips with everything, it really started to flow and feel very nice. The head movement, the lunges, timing a counter off those is beautiful. I try my best to play realistically, kinda glad I stick to offline because I played online once and came across nothing but insane pressure fighters and spammers, lol. I had like, 6 fights, lost 5 but I got a win in the end with Foreman - put Bishop on the canvas with a sledgehammer of a right straight. As good as this game was, you can see that there are no "punishments". You made your signature moves from UFC 2 (uppercut and hook, etc... lol!) and no rock what-so-ever. If this was UFC 3 with going to the body like this he would definitely get rocked in just a couple moments and most likely out cold in the second round. Great experience, though. Ali was constantly moving and picking his shots while making people tired, Ali let them work! I actually dig his way of fighting, he was like "You get excited? Keep working" while starting off slowly. This was also a good strategy to read opponents to see what's their favorite jab, combos and so on. It worked so good because Ali was reading so well and his head movements were off the chain. Probably the greatest boxer in his time / generation. I'm honestly not that much into boxing, but Roy Jones Jr., Wladimir Klitschko and Mike Tyson (of course) were pretty much my to-go-guys when it came to boxing. Nowadays I do like Tyson Fury, he's special. I mostly can relate to him because of his mental issues, what a fighter. He's basically the Michael Bisping of Boxing, lol.. well to some degree at least.
