I was visiting calif in like early 90,s and happened to stumble onto this band playing in a bar by campus...was one hell of a fun night totally unexpected.. then saw the feederz the next night...mummies literally kicked ass live in small bar....

They were around in the late 80s and didn't last long. But I think that was the point. Occasionally perform together since disbanding in the early 90s. Three members went on to form The Phantom Surfers who was associated with the garage/bubblegum punk of the 90s alla empTy and Lookout! They still exist in some form today.
