I love all those old mummy movies made by Hammer Studios. They have charme and they are classics.

Yeah, I actually like this series a lot (and Terence Fisher's 'The Mummy' might be my favourite Horror film); I think people underrate these movies greatly.

Oh well. Try The Mummy (1959), The Revenge of Frankenstien (1958) as well as The Reptile (1966). Due to the truly terrifying nature of these films I would advice watching the trailers first. Then when embarking on the films themselves make sure somebody else knows what you are going to do and when you are likely to finish. But for heavens be careful.

These films are awesome. After a long work week, late on Friday and Saturday nights, I enjoy cuddling up with my beautiful girlfriend, having some hot, buttery popcorn, Dr. Pepper, and watching these films.

Hammer, can we please-for the love of God-get a new release in the US? I can’t find this film reasonably priced anywhere, at all.

The Mummy series is pretty hard to track down. I think 'The Curse of The Mummy's Tomb' is only found on a bluray double feature, also.

This film is considered one of Hammer's more inferior efforts, and in some ways that may be correct, but I have to say I really enjoyed it. It's not one of their definitive classics but it does what a cheesy 60s horror film is meant to do... it entertains and it's fun! Unfairly underrated in my opinion, and an improvement on 'Curse of the Mummy's Tomb' which I simply couldn't get particularly into!

They are the best mummy films ever made. The more recent Mummy films with Brendan Fraser are just as dumb as the Twilight franchise. This film I haven't seen it, but it does look bloody awesome. And the women. Man, are they beautiful!

@@coloneljackmustard I love the Universal Mummy movies too (apart from maybe the last one), but yeah, these are great. I actually liked the Brendan Fraser ones as cheesy action films with a horror theme, but I'd like a really great horror take on the idea again. Definitely watch this movie, along with 'The Curse of The Mummy's Tomb' and 'The Mummy' from 1959 (the best Mummy movie ever made along with the Karloff one) if you have not already!

This is one of my favorite films in "The Mummy" franchise! Prem was scary but Kharis (Christopher Lee) I think was more frightening. Kah-To-Bey interestingly reminds me of Tutankhamun, even though their stories are different. I am definitely getting this on DVD.

Yeah, I think Kah-To-Bey was probably influenced by Tutankhamun and his fate is probably inspired by the fall of the Amarna pharaohs of the 18th Dynasty, with the rise of Horemheb, the last of the 18th Dynasty. I do agree that Kharis is more frightening and I think Ra-Antef from 'The Curse of The Mummy's Tomb' was probably also. My problem with Prem is that, when you don't focus too intently, he kind of looks like some slasher in a hockey mask wearing a boiler suit with a utility belt.
