As a NSFW artist for this fandom, Ion think it's an issue so long as you're an adult, aren't innapropiate to others without consent, the characters are 18+, you properly tag stuff and you keep away from minors. Like, NSFW is everywhere, bein horny is natural for most people, they're not real so the question of "how it works" and stuff is invalid bc it's fiction. To me it's honestly more annoyin to see people complain about the NSFW and simpin in every fandom I go to. I get it if you're a kid and this is baby's first fandom and you stumbled upon untagged stuff or smth, but for grownass adults who have been on the internet for almost as long as they've been alive to still go "eww not the NSFW artists/simps, they'll ruin my pookie wookie characters and showssss" at every fandom they come across is pretty ridiculous. Specially bc simps and NSFW art is genuinely never gonna "ruin" the characters or show bc flash news everyone, we don't have some sort of secret power over the canon stuff that happens in the show. The only way simps/NSFW can "ruin" the show/characters is if you get so caught up on your hate boner for it that you become unable to distinguish what's fannart from the canon stuff. Pro tip: The block button exists. Use it. Algorithms view any sort of interaction with smth as you wantin more of it, even if the interaction was you leavin a rude comment or complainin about NSFW/simps, the algorithm only sees you havin commented and will go "oh, they commented, they interacted, they want more, let's give them more."

One of the first things I said was to tag stuff, the tag for MD NSFW is different from the regular one and it's common etiquette to spoiler stuff to not flashbang people. 2. Another thing I said was to not be innapropiate to people without their consent, unsolicited NSFW falls under that category, plus we NSFW artists tend to recieve unsolicited REAL LIFE gore and NSFW just for drawin what we draw, so non NSFW people ain't the only victims.
