I know it seemed like a joke when they said they listened and this is a new direction for Sonic, but this is exactly what me and a lot of fans have been wanting for so long. It's just so nice to see all of these characters interacting with each other and despite being funny and light hearted, it's still very sincere. I am also incredibly thankful that Fadel and the rest of the gang were able to do a fan dub so soon, I can't think of a more perfect way to experience this.

I'm a year late, but I got Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog yesterday and finished the game today, and it's so amazing, I loved it! This is the first time Shadow has been nice to anyone except Maria. Maybe Shadow is going to show more of his soft side to Sonic and his gang from now on---Shadow buying Amy concert tickets for Hot Honey, and them going together (against Shadow's will) is so sweet!! And DAMN the voice acting for Amy, Sonic, Shadow, Espio, Rouge, and Blaze are amazing! And as an Espio and Shadow fan, I literally ascended, seeing so much Espio moments in this game. Shadow being a cinnamon roll on the inside is what absolutely sells me man. He showed that softy in him to Amy lol, thought the only person he cared about was Maria.

I know this might be a hot take, but I genuinely feel this sort of games should have make a great miniseries for Sonic. Like seriously, I can tell that for a free April Fools Steam game, they just banged more than I possibly thought. If Sega is willing to make MORE surprises of that caliber, than I would gladly take it. I still can't believe they make this for free. This should legimately make a monetisation option for such games, and I will gladly pay for next games like this one. Hmmm... What about "Chronicles Series"? If anyone ever wants more Sonic stories like this, I'll always recomend the IDW Sonic comics! Many of the artists & writers for this game also worked on IDW & it shows! ❤ Even regardless, I truly believe IDW is peak Sonic!! I haven't finished the vid yet BUT I beat the game. Would like to know thoughts on things regarding the ending so SPOILERS AHEAD I am not familiar with lore regarding badniks or lore in general, but does anyone else feel bad for the badnik? It is described as sentient and clearly had its own thoughts and desires, yet Sonic and the gang basically killed it without even trying to save it, yeah there was the moment at the end where it said it was sorry and then died but couldn't someone like tails reprogram him to no longer be influenced by robotnik while saving his memory? Just feel like there was a clear setup for a redemption arc scenario but the story sped through it so fast there was no room for it.

The sentience came from the Flicky inside (the bird) Espio saves it and then flies over to the conductor and his wife, so we're to assume the conductor took the Flicky with him the train did actually get his wish after all.

@@qwerty-bm5gx Interesting. I was under the impression the flicky was just the power source (all he was doing was running in the hamster wheel) and eggman said he had made the passenger trains more intelligent to be able to capture sonic on their own.

@@rylynis Sonic has it's fair share of Eggman robots gone rogue or rebelling against Eggman in the end it's kinda unclear how much control the animals inside Eggman's robots have but some seem to have more than others (probably just story reasons). The most famous example is probably E-102 Gamma from Sonic Adventure 1, a playable Eggman robot. I don't wanna spoil it cause it's quite a heartwarming story.
