My sister joined the nation of Yahweh a few years ago. Just in the last couple of years, she has officially joined the cult in Tennessee without anyone knowing. She ceased all contact with her friends and family. She called me a month ago out of the blue, and she seemed like she was doing fine. She didn't give us any details as to what city in Tennessee she was in, and she was very tight lipped about any other details. She no longer wants anything to do with us since we are not followers of Yahweh. All I can do is pray for her safety.

Mom sisters and I use to live in that same complex, my mom bought a house and weaved before all of the tragedy in that complex. We were a very close community parents looked out for the kids and we all looked out for each other. I remember when Yahweh and his followers would come down the dirt toad and hand us pamphlets and ask for donations. I'm so sorry that the family members of my friends were killed and I'm also thankful that my mom.was able to buy a house and move us away before. Jesus did not fulfill all the prophecies for the Messiah. The messiah's name will be Emmanuel from the tribe of Judah descendant of David. Jesus is from the tribe of Levi King David King David is from the tribe of Judah. Matthew chapter 1 and Luke chapter 3:23-36 are the descendants of Joseph's but they both contradict themselves. Matthews says that Joseph is a descendant of David from his son Solomon but Luke says that Joseph is a descendant of David from his son Nathan. And either case Joseph is not jesus's father. The only relatives of Mary that is mentioned in the Bible is Elizabeth Luke chapter 1 verse 36. It is believed that they are sisters Elizabeth is from the tribe of Levi, Luke chapter 1 verse 5

I grew up in a cult, not as obviously harmful to one's physical being as this one, but a cult nonetheless. My entire family still believes. I left when I was 19 but I started doubting at 12 and hid it until I moved out. Now that I'm older, I realize what I did was not easy, still yet, I don't understand why ppl fall for religion and cults overall. I will never stop being intrigued by it and trying to understand why I was able to leave as soon as I got the chance but so many ppl cannot. That is actually an automatic logical deduction type of reasoning, which is tought in law schools and law enforcement, because ultimately that is how all court trials work - direct causal connection between the simplest of acts or pieces of evidence and the crime. It is the only way to secure proper sentence. This is just standard investigative thinking on display, because even though it may seem funny because it is so obvious to you, many of the worst criminals escaped punishment only through a tiny technicality, because the basic "A lead to B" couldn't be sufficiently established for the jury.
