The “Finale & End Credits” piece for The Last Crusade is absolutely amazing all the way through. The finale and end credit pieces to all 3 films bring together all the aspects of the full score of the movie and make it into a single masterpiece.

It's just so frustrating that the score changes on the album from the film, it's so much more triumphant when Indy says "Yes sir!" In the film

Great job. John Williams has and always will be my favorite composer. Having been born in 1977, he scored my childhood! Lol. This score is full of gorgeous little nuggets - the theme for the cross of coronado, the motif when indy sees the "invisible" bridge. But one in particular always blows me away. The journey music from venice to the castle on the Austrian border. That 30 seconds feels like another movie happened during that journey. It's bursting with character.

I still love to listen to soundtrack... and pretty much all of John Williams' music in general. Great video, looking forward to seeing more from you.

I've listened to this soundtrack since it came out in '89. It was the only Indiana Jones soundtrack I have back then because the first two were pretty hard to find at my local music stores. Scherzo for motorcycle and orchestra has always been my favorite.

Amazing video and channel that I've just stumbled across! But I feel that the Grail leitmotif can't go unmentioned; honestly that 10 seconds of score never fails to transport me. you've earned a new subscriber!

This was the first score I ever purchased, being a fan of John Williams and soundtracks in general. The Grail theme is probably my favorite theme in movies. Williams is able to not only create a special theme but also communicate the word 'solemnity' through music. I am still impressed after all these years. The only track I don't like, being Italian, is the mandolin part, which feels a little bit out of place. It's usually associated with the southern part of Italy, especially Campania, but it seems like too obvious of a choice to me, in general. Congrats on the video!

While I can't really begrudge anyone choosing Crusade over Raiders, for me there's one thing Raiders has that Crusade doesn't that makes all the difference to my ears. The Ark theme.

@@SarumanOrthanc That's like saying Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is just as good as The Last Crusade because there's a picture of Sean Connery.

While I recognize Raiders to be a perfect film worthy of its many accolades and film studies, I find Last Crusade to be more meaningful and thematically mature than the original. Not that Raiders was trying to be anything other than a 1930s adventure serial, but the father-son element lent itself well to the series; resulting in more development of Indy's character. From a music standpoint, a theme that sticks in your mind or gives you chills is one thing, but a theme that reaches into your heart and touches your very humanity is a whole other skill. And Last Crusade is full of those moments. Is it any wonder why Last Crusade is also Spielberg's favorite in the series?
