Why I think the Silca Gravelero is the most important accessory for any gravel Bike

Very good & honest review 👍🏽 Out of curiosity and especially for the same reason you were describing (often deflate&inflate based on surface) why not to use co2 inflators instead of mini pumps?

On any list of the highest quality equipment, Silca will always be at the top! I can honestly say that every time I have purchased any Silca product or part, that purchase will become my favorite for that particular product or use case. Great video!

Cannondale dirt mini pump is a cheaper alternative with almost an identical design, including the quick detach lever head. I've been using it for gravel in a similar way over 2 years without issue.

I love this pump but the one big flaw is the top cap cover. It needs to cover the complete head rather than just the pump chuck. big let down from Silca

I guess I know the bit you mean but I've personally never had any issues with it. Does yours not sit tight on it

@@SpinAnGrin yes the cap prevents dirt getting into the air port. But the bit I mean is the whole chuk assembly that attaches to the hoze. I've sold it but fitting an old inner tube over the complete end with it clued one end.

Ps don’t forget the “quick chuck” … AWESOME … NO MORE unscrewing the valve core AFTER you’ve just pumped up. A tyre ..

What is the S-Works you have in the pump video? Is that a Crux? If so, how does it compare to the TCX in your experience?

Yep, it's the older 2020 Crux. I kinda prefer the TCX still, I preferred the higher riding position due to the higher BB. But the Crux is much lighter. On a long flat ride, I'd use the TCX. On a hilly it technical route the Crux would wipe the floor with it

It's called an "Ass saver" just straps around the rear stays with rubber straps
