Well the fishing has certainly kicked off on the Gold Coast over the last week. Hot humid days, full moon and good tides have proved the catalyst for some awesome saltwater action. In this little clip I put the Bassday Sugapen through is paces tussling with a nice Trevally in an early morning session on the Gold Coast canals. Cheers Sem, yeah its a bit of a battle at first I did struggle for some time to get the proper action. It seems to be all about rhythm and coinciding the turn of the handle with the pulse of the rod tip, practice makes perfect , you'll get it dude just keep at it 👍

I had a stack of trouble when I started too. I found easier to use a grabbing or clenching action rather than a wrist shake thing. My misses said my wrist should be well practiced, but I'm right handed and hold rod (fishing) with my left hand.😁 Good luck
