O.T GOD gives the Law and in N.T the same GOD came down as Law which means the outpouring of the Spirit is to follow the Law of the Spirit of GOD ..Rom 8:2 ( The Law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death )...GOD is good and His mercy endures forever.. Thanks to be GOD our Father and Lord Jesus Christ...

I think you’re missing the point of the giving of God’s commandments. It was the people who cut God off after He gave the tenth commandment. God had much more to give the people than just the first ten. It was the people who did not want to hear from Him anymore. It is interesting that the eleventh commandment was exactly the commandment that the people broke. Granted, it could be said that they were ignorant of the prohibition of making gods of precious metal. They had to wait to hear it from Moses upon his return from the mountain, but the first commandment should have been sufficient. Acts says that the Holy Spirit had the appearance of tongues of fire, not that it was fire. Just as it appeared like a dove when it descended upon Jesus after He was baptized. I don’t see any need to make more out of this than we need to. May God bless you.
