My cousin Mari, who teaches English here in BCN, recommended me this novel 8 years ago. She knew I am very fond of gothic genre. Hence one cannot give up reading this jewel of Literature. With regard to your dramatized audio version is the best of all I've listened to by far. Therefore I say congratulations for such a brilliant and well-done job.

Very kind - but I'm obliged to say that it's a BBC production so all congratulations should go in that direction. I'm just a humble curator..! Glad you enjoyed it - I have a second version which I will upload in the near future. It's shorter, but more 'concentrated' as it were. If you like Gothic Literature you might also be interested by the adaptation of The Castle of Otranto on this channel, which was made the same year as this version of Udolpho.
