I've been reading through the comments and some people are just cruel. Chris was a young hard working man, if he was a millionaire he didn't live like one before his death. He loved his family especially his brothers, mother and girlfriend, chris would never even sacrifice his own father as far as I know. He worked even harder to take care of his family because his father wasn't alive. My sister sent me the link to this video this past Saturday ever since then I've been thinking about chris because after his passing I was just told that Chris passed away in Congo with the local police being his killers but after watching this video that story has alot more layers to unpack. Reading the comments I saw that the video of Chris at the funeral is on facebook. Who is the deceased person and if he was there the night before what was he doing there? Why was he trying to put on headphones?? Why was he looking at the time on his watch?? Why weren't the people who are clearly dragging him away being questioned?? Most importantly why isn't Chris' family and friends being interviewed? Every single person that loved, spoke to or saw Chris need to answer what actually happened??

I been legally living in South Africa for 26 years and have been in and out of the country as an international student many times while studying in Malaysia. Coming back to SA as a permanent resident I was required to have my Green ID book, Original PR Permit and a passport. a lady at the immigration control checked all my docs and then asked for proof of PR. I said but you have the original PR in your hands and she denied me access even though she had my original docs. So the guys at other stations came and told her "Come on sister the guy has all the required documents". I always try to avoid women at passport control. If you find a man they just tell you welcome back home. But women want to show you that they have power over you.

I don't know why but as soon as I heard he was denied entry I just knew the immigration control officer was a woman. These xenophobic employees that hold good innocent peoples lives in their hands to feel powerful need to be found out and purged, its a disgrace. His adopted country failed him, then his birth country failed and murdered him. Rest easy bro.

For over a week, the story of his death has been on my mind. And then this video pops up on my recommendations. All this started when he was denied entry into South Africa at the airport. And the turn of events after that is very, very suspicious. I understand people backing away after that video went around. But, I still cannot grasp that he was in his right state of mind at all. Something happened to him. Time reveals all things. God, this family needs justice. Thank you Forbes for covering this story. And to Patrick, big ups to you continuing what your brother started.

This is still painful and heartbreaking to think how CK's life was ended just like that. I worked with him on a few occasions as he was building up Click Media Productions and when he was scaling his company and a few months before his death we had a chat on how we can work together again. I'm blessed to have seen his come up and how he mentored Pat to be in business with him. I can't explain how this guy was so driven, ambitious, focused on being great as an individual and as a entrepreneur. His slogan was something like "Do a good job" and I wish you guys could keep that as a tagline to his companies. It's the first time I hear about that video from the funeral and I can only think that they did something to him to act that way, the CK I knew was not into drugs and any voodoo stuff, he was a strong believer and loved his mom, brothers and girlfriend wholeheartedly. I can only guess they did something to him to act that way. He was not in his right might as what Pat is saying but we all know that normal CK was always on point and focused towards his goals. There is something terrible and mysterious about how the sequence of events ended up with him in Congo after living in SA for so long. So sad that our African leaders and us as Africans still allows for such crimes against our own to happen without much of a care... It sounds like a lot of things could have been prevented/avoided, especially starting with that re-entry into SA. What a terrible way for him to go, Africa has lost big time on this one. This guy was a change maker. I pray his family finds closure someday soon, may his soul haunt all those that are responsible for his death first, then rest in peace. #DoAGoodJob #GoneButNotForgotten #Justice4CK 😥😥

This is heartbreaking. I have experienced this denial to enter into SA more than 2 times, the immigration officers claim ones visa is in valid to a point of tearing it off your passport. I was fortunate all times to get someone who eventually agrees to call in or do whatever they do to confirm the validity of my visa. But 2022 marked my last visit to SA. A country I love. With that kind of harassment I decided ot was not worth visiting SA any longer

I am a dual citizen USA and Canada. I was coming back to USA, and I was retained at the Immigration in Johannesburg. I don't know what they were thinking. Maybe they think that I was African who stole a passport to enter USA. They were very aggressive toward me in the way they were talking. I then pull my second passport from Canada. I told them, I think they believe that I am not a US citizen, then I told them, I have a Canadian passport also, and showed it to them, just to show them that if they think the US passport is not mine, what about the Canadian one lol Their eyes got opened big, like they were shocked that this girl has two passports from two powerful countries, when they probably thought i couldn't have one at all. 😅😅. Heartbreaking. In the video of the funeral - looks like he was having a mental health episode. The unexpected deportation and detention at the Airport in South Africa and forced trip back to DRC, a country he left as a child may have have triggered him psychologically. The crowd around him were definitely outraged by his behaviour and attributed it to "witchcraft" rather than a person having a mental health crisis - he may have been killed by mob justice or police . You'd also find that where there is a high level of corruption there is an equal level of poverty and failed economies. The onus is on the African governments to free their countries from neo-colonialistic policies that stifle growth. Work on removing the culture of corruption in their society. There is also the issue of tribal chauvinism but it's not as major as corruption. Until corruption is removed or reduced and officials are held accountable. Africa will have a hard time growing into the super power it can be.Chances are those countries you speak of are not endowed with the natural resources as most of the highly corrupt African Countries that despite their natural resources and potential for growth have remained stagnant for decades or continue falling into despair.

Chris arrived after midnight on May 2nd. I believe that's when he met the 2 officials at the airport.
