On the walls of ancient Egyptian tombs during the reign of the eighteenth dynasty pharaohs, scientists noticed images of people whom the Egyptians called Keftiu. These people were very similar to how the inhabitants of Crete portrayed themselves in the late Bronze Age. At the same time, in the Bible, we know about the existence of a people called "Caphtorim", and their country with the name "Caphtor". But is our knowledge enough to say that the mysterious Keftiu are representatives of the ancient Minoan civilization from the island of Crete?

Its a pity we haven't cracked the linear A script although if we do they most likely be just inventories like the linear B. I'd love a new bronze age archive library to turn up, possibly on Cyprus or Anatolia to throw some light on the Aegean at this time something a bit more substantial than the Hittite records although I'm greatful for them. I'd just love something to allow us to compare the Greek myths that survived the dark ages with a real history. So fingers crossed a new archive turns up somewhere from the time period I'd settle for new Hittite tablets or something from arzawa or hyksos papyrus anything. Its like the Minoans and Mycenaeans are taunting us ,just out of reach. T

I cannot argue with any of this. Great conclusions! We have the destruction of the Minoan empire by the Mt. Thera eruption and the Exodus at the same time with the tribe of Dan (Danae) escaping Egypt in ships to claim Crete and other regions of Greece, with the Pharaoh of Egypt losing his army to the tsunamis created by the huge eruption.

Senenmut is Moses and Hatshepsut is his step-mom who drew him out of the Nile River and it was her father or one over uncles (maybe Amenhotep 1/ Thutmose 1) who had all the male children of the Habiru two years old and younger thrown into the Nile River, but Moses was put in a basket/ tiny boat and he reached Hatshepsut who was down stream in the Nile bathing when a servant girl or she saw the basket herself and realized what it was when she opened it . Amenhotep 2/ Thutmose 3 is the Pharoah of Expdus and the 10 plagues of Egypt, who died in the Red Sea (not the sea of reeds), and it was his son King Tut who died of the 10th plague which was the Passover, and the households without blood of the lamb on its door posts would have their firstborn son die.
