*really important* hey just wanna point this out: the rabbits' only source of food and care is the people who come to visit them. most people bring them lettuce and stuff, and even though lettuce is good for them, that shouldn't be their entire diet. if you go there, bring them as much timothy hay as you can! hay is supposed to be 80% of their diet so that's super important.

In Denmark we have a similar situation. On Bornholm all the foxes died from diseases and the rabbits who escape from garden or were set free started to multiply uncontrollably, as the only land predator on the island had died off. So now there are many rabbits on this small island of Bornholm. And you will not see rabbits in any other parts of Denmark, only the wild hare.

Rabbit island isn't the paradise it seems. All of the rabbits are starving, the only water they have access to is absolutely filthy, and they have no access to something that makes up 80% of their diet and is vital for them to thrive: Timothy, orchard or grass hay. These rabbits do not know how to survive. They are constantly fighting so many are left with deadly wounds. These rabbits are suffering. Lennon the bunny visited there in one of her videos, she showed EVERYTHING, not just the cute and cuddly stuff.

So; my mum MIGHT meet me half-way ... sort of. She suggested I can have a small rabbit as a companion; & register him/her as a therapy or service animal, if we can follow the proper channels. I have to admit, I'd sooner have a dog (mainly because of "family dogs" I've known & loved, especially for their loyalty); but the idea of having a real-life pet sounds wonderful! I hope my mum is serious, as I'm already thinking of the many ways I can spoil& treat my new floppy-eared pal. I guarantee; this bunny will have constant attention/affection from me. Now I'll FINALLY get a pet I can read aloud to whenever I like! PS- I was just SO excited & HAD to share it with whoever might read this!! 💕✨🐰✨💕

Imagine how were they during lockdown, during the first year of covid-19 pandemic. Imagine how starved they were, pr how confuse were they when there was no tourist 🥺 Sure they will find food but look at them, they are exposed, and chances are, they would stay where they are safe. They are domisticated rabbits. Unlike the wild rabbits, these rabbits would likely starve. Can you imagine how they werea during the first lockdown? Do we expect them to go to places? They are prey animals. They stay in familiar and safe spaces if they are domisticated. I hope families in japan could adopt bunnies. One or two for each responsible family would be great! Question 1, why the hell is there a poison gas museum? Shouldn’t it suppose to be a museum dedicated to the people whose die under those gas?
@Bamthis4 жыл бұрын
I just can’t imagine the things they present in there. Welcome to the gas museum, where it stores all different types of poison gas that can be potentially lethal if there’s a leaking problem.

Due to lack of predators rabbits in rabbits island in a million years will become big to the size of a sheep from island gigantism this same process happen to small pigeons then then they turn into the now extinct dodo bird
@hannahgo9104 жыл бұрын
Guys, these rabbits are actually poorly fed, and they dont have clean drinking water, so they'll have a really low chance of survival :(
@nicecontent31584 жыл бұрын
Of course, do you think the islander feed them and take care of each individual rabbits? Some do, and the tourist also provides food for rabbits, but some dies, that's just how nature works. They survive because they breed and birthed very quickly.

Its nature Its Kinda the same like if the rabbits didnt live there
@53ra4 жыл бұрын
They’re technically wild rabbits, it’s how they basically live in the wild lmao Don’t listen to Lennon man, I know they aren’t taking care of the rabbits but they’re wild, it isn’t their job-
@hannahgo9104 жыл бұрын
Guys I know it's just life and nature I'm just pointing that there poorly taken care of, and of course they don't feed every single rabbit, I'm just saying it's sad that they have to live like that.
@hannahgo9104 жыл бұрын
@@nicecontent3158 I know, I'm just pointing out that it's sad that they have to live like that. Ofc they don't feed all of them, obviously they die, it's just sad that they have to live like that.

Most of the rabbits there are really sick. Not properly looked after and barley any food. It is cute having a island of bunny's but they where not made to survive like this. This video just hides that badness. Sorry to bring the bad news.

not all invasive species are bad tho! They tend to be, but they may also have no effect (or a negligible effect) on the ecosystem, or they can even improve the ecosystem for the other organisms.
@laffodile16366 жыл бұрын
King Keegster Kay name one that helps the enviroment since most are bad but have no effect.

+Rafael Medina earthworms in North America, although those actually may not be good either. However Japanese white-eye bird in Hawaii have helped a lot of flowers to grow since Hawaii has had a lot of problems from other birds disappearing from Hawaii. A lot of flowers would have gone extinct without the bird.

Ryan Liu Invasive species are species that have a negative impact on an enviorment. As far as I know, these rabbits haven't contributed anything bad towards the enviorment on this island.
