James Greenwood Considering his scale, that’s not a terrible review. He’s said before that a 5 means he likes parts of the album a lot but no others and it’s just decent. That’s “okay” for him, which makes sense. For some reason people think anything a 7 and under is bad.
@jamesgreenwood80005 жыл бұрын
Haut Strange I feel like he was overly critical on the album though. I’m suprised he hasn’t done a redux review on it considering it seems to have grown on everyone throughout the last few years

I think in a lot of people's top 3 Kanye albums, it usually includes MBDTF and College Dropout. But the 3rd album is usually completely different depending on the person and their tastes. Loved old Kanye? Probably Late Registration. Vibe with autotune or R&B? 808s and Heartbreak. Like chaotic and experimental production? Yeezus. Positive message with industrial influences? Kids See Ghosts. Religious or gospel? Jesus is King. You have to give him credit for changing his sound and style with every release. Over the years he has made a song for almost everyone.

This is the best analysis of an album or music ever. Just amplifies how much a genius we have in Kanye. I’m NOT trying to be that guy...but my other favorite genre is death metal...when Yeezus came out I recognized what he was doing. When showing this album to friends in 2013 I emphasized that it was like a punk hip hop album. I recognized how fucking mold shattering Yeezus was immediately. Mostly because of the novelty of how different it was. This is tied with MBDTF as my favorite Ye album
