I understand they are completely different bikes but for mountain riding in the twisties would you rather have the R or the M 1000 R?

I personally would go for the R as I think the M is a little too wild and a little too track focused. But that could also be handled via rider skill level…..

This isn’t air oil cooling, shift-cam is water oil cooling. I ride an R9T now that bike has the last generation improved boxer which was still air oil cooled.

Depends what you are going for, but I would most probably go for the SpeedTwin

@@route21garage Have a clear answer :) Going for spirited cruising through midwest country roads mostly, plus occasional 2-4 days roadtrips doing 250-350 miles a day.

Ok for the 2 to 3 day trips definitely the Beemer. It can also give you the spirited ride but does the touring better .

The Pollux Metallic Matte color, which is the bike I own, was only available in 2020, it wasn’t available in 2022. 2022 was a gloss gray or white HP. The bike you’re reviewing has to be a 2020.

Sometimes a color can over lap 6mths or even a yr, depending on how many were painted before assembly. So forget about trying to date a bike by color, EU & Jap bikes.
