Thanks Tinto 😊for showing us how you remove all of the covered granite,It will be worth all the hard work once it’s done in this room. The nettle compost liquid would be great for your gardens and fruit trees.I have tried stinging nettle tea as a tonic, apparently you only pick the new tips for this purpose! All the best with Anitas mother too cheers from Aus 🇦🇺

Thank you so much friend. This week in the north west we also experienced 6 inches of snow. Very unusual for November in this part of the UK.

Best wishes to Anita's Mum and I hope she is doing better. Lots of hard work there, cement is not the easiest of things to get off 😔 The wall will thank you in it's own way later once it is free and lime mortared and able to breath again x

You are knowledgeable about so many things but just in case... I just wanted to note this as I was unaware about cement/concrete/lime mortar. A contractor in England was talking about 1970s repairs made with cement on a wall/ home built in the 1400s. The problem was the stones couldn't dry out because the cement held water which caused the fail of the structures exterior wall.

Thank you. It is nice to learn. It is great advice, we plan to point the wall in lime once we clean most of the previous render.
