Ive never understood the layout of the Sheffield home. The kitchen has a backdoor and a side door. Maxwells office has a door which leads to a terrace, which implies its both at the back of the house and on an upper floor, despite the fact that its across the hall from the living room which is next to the front door. The kitchen and dinning room are next to each other despite the kitchen and the office seemingly occupying the same space. The kitchen also has a stairwell that leads upstairs which means it must be in the back left corner of the house. For all of these things to work the house just have five rooms right to left, each of which is at least 20 feet across. The exterior shots of the house show that the house is nor more that 40 feet across at maximum. Ive had quite a bit of time on my hands since stay-at-home took effect.

There are a lot of online plans for houses from tv shows. But wasn't able to find this one at all. It must be out there, although searching is hard as companies named Sheffield and Maxwell build Nanny Houses. It could be that the house has been knocked into the next door house, with that just remaining as a dummy frontage. Not uncommon in up scale New York. However that means Roger Clinton was living in the French Embassy which both IRL and in the show is two doors up. To be fair, with the exception of the pilot (and that doesn't count, although that set was redressed for Roger Clinton when he turned up) the lay out is mostly consistent.
