Amberlynn: I lied about my entire relationship with Becky, I lied to Becky about loving her, and I settled for her. I enjoy being mean to her, and made her put her family photos in the closet, because to me, they're too quirky for my tastes. Also Amberlynn: I don't understand why Becky dumped me! You are all sociopaths, because you won't believe me that Jade isn't here anymore!

In my opinion, Amber's toxic personality has gotten worse ever since Wifey arrived on the scene. And her constant shading of Becky shows everyone how bad of a person she actually is. I have mentioned this before, but it deserves to be stated once again-If she weighed 150 pounds, a lot of people would still dislike her because of her horrible personality! As an adult with adhd (medicated) it's very clear that she's using buzzwords from the internet/chat section about the illness. adhd is a lot more than not being able to focus or sit still. Also I know many others with this disability and not a single one of us could sit on a couch for hours in front of a camera reading comments. If we were to do so there would be many times where we would get heavily distracted or need to move around due to a lack of stimulation. She just wants another thing to blame her shortcomings on

I've said it elsewhere, but she doesn't have that drive behind seeking diagnosis that I know I had and many other ppl with adult adhd have. The reason you get diagnosed at this age is because you literally can't take it anymore and it's eating you alive to not be able to do ANYTHING. I know goddamn well I almost cried when I took my first Ritalin and I sat down and actually did work for a whole afternoon because I had been so stuck for so long and I thought I was so useless for no reason despite having brilliant aptitude in sudden flashes. I don't see that in her at all, and I hope I'm wrong about that, but really bothers me a whole lot.

I mean, if she is realy getting it checked out, I feel like it's okay to mention it, if she keeps it down after this. If she just sits there and says "But I MIGHT have ADHDeeee 😩🥺 don't be meeaaan" then I want her to absolutely fricking stop! She just keeps getting tangled up in her lies as well. "I read 5 billion books a week" "I can't even watch a movie, I might have ADHD" "No, I don't self diagnose" "My eating disorder has been diagnosed a week ago (all though I was on KZbin for years)" She will fall flat on her face once her web unravels and will have nothing but the few orbiters that kiss the ground she...well, uhm, waddles on. Try not to get angry about her, as she said" Karma is a thing sooo have fun with that". She'll eat those words one day

@@Solanin0803 the only diagnosis she is missing at this point is the one that is suggested here on this channel. I've been watching her from the beginning and the more I watch her the more I realize she is an entitled bully using her childhood trauma as an excuse at this point - you're a grown woman and at this stage of life trauma shouldn't be an excuse, it should be addressed with a professional. She's using it to eat garbage, lie, and make up and assume she has a sMiDgEt oF aDHD SiTuAtIoN tYPe dEaL and whatnot. She willingly stopped taking her medication for whatever reason, even though her weight caused her uterus to be removed. She will never focus on the real issue - that she is a self-absorbed narcissist who thinks life owes her something just because her parents did drugs. She had family and friends and partners all along that were willing to take care and help her out, but she went ahead and abused her first girlfriend we know of that she had as a young adult, got kicked out of her aunt's and grandmother's house because she was abusive and hard to deal with as well, then lived with another woman being financially supported by the parents of said woman, once Dusty came into the picture she tapped out quickly realizing the drama seeking dumpster fire that she is, and then we have Becky who was her caretaker, I will not take that back because she was her caretaker beyond her weight immobility, while she had her little obesity induced cancer type situation she stopped taking the meds for and will probably not do a checkup until something really bad happens again. Lying about reading a book a day, then saying she hasn't finished a book since January. There's nothing wrong with Amber. Amber is just stuck in her late teen years lying to get what she wants, thinking that life and people around her owe her something, instead of taking accountability. So many people grow up without parents or in abusive homes, myself included, and it's not an excuse when you're 30. She is now choosing to do these things. How ruthless and vile.

Literally. I've been waiting for over a year for an official diagnosis becaue they get so many people who just see a few symptoms and want to get diagnosed. Often just so they can get adderall (and misuse it…). It's exhausting and I'm at a point where i can’t function and do daily tasks anymore. It's not just having ”a lot of the symptoms” and them just ”messing with your daily life”. As a nursing student if id go through a medical diagnosis text book; id be able to diagnose myself with multiple diseases from me just having a common/generic array of symptoms like a swollen lymph node and fever. Like it could be anything from just a few symptoms. Mono? Tuberculosis? HIV? Lupus? Cancer? Or just a simple flu? It’s the same with ALR, i feel like she sees a list of symptoms and then starts (lets give her the benefit of the doubt that she does it unconsciously) acting out the other symptoms. Just like a hypocondriac who think/fear they have the illness when they see the list of symptoms.

I've said this on other channels but I'll say it here too - Amber doesn't have ADHD. Amber is bored. Her dopamine is depleted because her one main dopamine feedback loop (eating) is now being strictly controlled by Jade, and so she can't get herself motivated to do literally anything. She can't move properly or comfortably. And the worst part? If she gets her hands on some amphetamines, its not going to do shit in suppressing her appetite - Amber doesn't eat due to appetite, she eats because she has an eating disorder. She doesn't stop eating when she is full and has no idea when she's hungry. She eats because she can't stop. Amphetamines are going to perk up her dopamine receptors and she'll binge IMMEDIATELY.

When she started talking about ADHD, I legitimately started crying because it's so much more serious of a disorder than she makes it sound. I've been diagnosed since I was FIVE- I'm nineteen now- and it isn't just about "haha attention span go brrr" and "i can't focus on everyday tasks." There have been days where I have gotten absolutely nothing done and forgotten to TAKE CARE of myself because I get distracted with one menial task. I can't have an ounce of caffeine because I've shake so badly that I can't go in public. And the spread of misinformation on adderall also p!ssed me off because that drug can be addicting and promoting it TO HER as some sort of miracle dieting pill just. . . ugh. There was so much wrong with this livestream. Edit; thank you to everyone sharing their own views on the subject. I've never been one to really comment on videos but this is very important to me as someone who is currently studying to be a psychologist and overall just an advocate for mental health in general. I only saw one negative reply about how it's just ADHD, not cancer, and I'd like to say something about that. Don't you dare compare apples to oranges. I don't know how insensitive of a human being you must be to weigh the importance of health struggles, but that's disgusting. The fact of the matter is that by her spreading misinformation about the disorder- and by reading other comments/superchats- is damaging and invalidating an entire community. Not to mention that by advertising adderall (which I personally take myself) as a medication that promotes weight loss could put individuals at risk.

Based on personal experience, I would speculate that she feels like she’s more creative when she’s unmedicated because of the god complex and heightened self image that comes with manic episodes. This was my exact thinking as well. I work in inpatient mental health and the amount of clients who say they feel like they can "do life" better without their meds is astonishing. @@lexicharms4662 I think there is a balance between the two. I have not won any major awards for poetry written while medicated. I get more writing and creative projects done while medicated, that I can acknowledge for sure. And plenty of my ideas while unmedicated are ridiculous and come from the unearned esteem/bit of arrogance that mania can give you. Or when a boy pulls on some 1st graders ponytail, making them cry, just for someone to come along and say "boys will be boys!". Inherently bad actions are still choices and shouldn't be given a pass because its their default behavior. Actually, those type of people need to be held accountable even MORE or else they will never change. Unluckily for Amber, she's everything above and a Narcissist. Narcissist can't and won't be subject to criticism without flipping the script, gaslighting, and bullying until the party pointing out the abusive behavior apologizes. The most core parts of her being are those two things, when I realized that, all hope of her maybe being a better person one day completely dissipated. There is someone here that I do feel safe with to assist me after my surgery thankfully. I just can't wait till I'm out of this situation! As someone who got diagnosed with adhd as an adult; yes amber, I do go into a hyper focused mode but that doesn’t last more than a day, ill spend 14h straight on this one project only to realize the sun has gone down, I haven’t eaten all day and i have multiple text from ppl i missed. But it has never lasted a full ass month, never. As soon as my hyper focus is broken, its over. If it’s not done it wont be done anytime soon.

I think Amber is referring to hyper*fixation*, not hyperfocus. It’s also very much a symptom of ADHD that people experience, usually in the form of very deep, intense interest and involvement with a certain hobby, special interest, book series, tv show, etc. Hyperfocus is a short-term impulse, hyperfixation is prolonged in comparison, and it can last for days, weeks, or years. People who hyperfixate on certain things can usually point out different periods of time where they fixate on certain things, and fixations may or may not ever truly go away. Amber’s not wrong here, but the intensity of her fixation is very unclear, and it’s not convincing to me at least.

@@bluebirb7418 you're right, and I got no education to diagnos her, I study early childhood education, and while I surly believe she has her mental disabilities and other illnesses, she just has never really shown signs of it before. And for her sake I hope she doesn't have it, being constantly on edge sounds like it's own kind of hell at her size, I think it was Young Dumb Honey Bun who talked about her wanting to be this medical mystery and this is just another one on her list. But it did kinda scare me when she read the comment about ADHD meds making you skinny, sure it messes with your appetite but so much else comes into it too such as blood pressure and heart rate, messing with your mood, energy levels. And yes while she could possibly need appetite suppressants, she's an emotional eater, she doesn't need to feel hungry, so pills that could send her body into shock for the slight chance that it would make her eat less, sounds like a horrifically poor bet. I don't wanna see her get worse is all.

@@Sugarplum_bum Yes, even if she does get formally diagnosed, she would either have to work on a few other mental issues and lose some weight first. Adderall and Ritalin are going to make your heart go nuts just because they're stimulants, and it's an issue for people like my dad because he has arrhythmia, but still needs stimulant meds. She would need to get to a place where taking these meds to help with daily functioning aren't going to put her life at risk. On top of that, I don't think it's going to go the way she thinks it will if she somehow get handed a bottle of Adderall by a psychiatrist. Taking stimulants isn't all it's chalked up to be, especially if she really does have ADHD. We react very differently to these drugs than a neurotypical, and we get a calmer mental state, but still may experience the physical hyperactivity of taking any stimulant, like caffeine or sugar. On top of that, there's intense nausea from being unable to eat when you take your meds, BECAUSE of your meds, there's the rush of anxiety as the stimulants kick in, and you're going to have a constant need for stimulation, which may cause things like hyperfocus to intensify. Being medicated has its own set of problems, but they're better than being unmedicated, and I don't know if she's ready for that or even realizes it.

There are some small things that could be seen as ADHD symptoms (impulsive spending and behaviour, not thinking her depop through properly, hyperfixation on reading, makeup, lego, etc), but the thing is that the level of detail she goes into is so vague that it's very very hard to tell. To be assessed, you would have to have a childhood history of certain symptoms, and for the symptoms to be detrimental to your daily functioning, which she doesn't mention at all. On top of that, the fact that she isn't taking meds consistently for her other diagnosed disorders can very well be messing with her, because of the heavy overlap of depression, anxiety, and bipolar with ADHD. What really gets to me especially is how she talks about her inattentive symptoms like "oh I just can't concentrate." She doesn't seem like she knows what it's like to recognize the consequences of not doing a task, sitting down to do it, and being trapped in your own body and conscious mind as you hit an invisible wall of mental paralysis. It's terrifying, it's incredibly distressing, and it's the side of ADHD that you never see anyone talk about, but so many people with ADHD will recognize. Her suspicions are valid, but the proof she states is not, especially given her tendencies to lie compulsively. She's got issues, but ADHD may not be one of them.

I said this on another video so I’ll say it here too The way Amber talk about ADHD feels like all she knows is the it has something to do with attention span. It’s so much more than that. That’s such a small part. It’s not some cute quirky thing. Undiagnosed ADHD can lead to personality disorders and other mental illnesses, addiction, reckless/dangerous behaviour… It can be difficult to maintain relationships and connect with people. Hyperfixations aren’t just going through a phase where you liked building lego, it would be learning everything you could about lego, watching every video you can find to see all the neat buildings tricks. You’d know way too much about each unique block and the colours they come in lol. And I hate the “I can’t focus to read = I have ADHD” mindset. Me, a person with ADHD, reads an ungodly amount. A lot of people can’t focus to read regardless. Actually getting a diagnosis is really hard. Especially for females (I’d recommend looking into it it’s pretty interesting). As an AFAB person diagnosed with adult ADHD, I just want to clarify that hyperfixation (an intense, deep fixation on a certain topic) is most definitely a potential symptom, HOWEVER, it is not one which is listed in the DSM-5, if I remember correctly. It simply is not a criteria for diagnosis, but it does not mean that it isn't a symptom, period. Alr's fixation on books or lego *could* be seen as a fixation, but the true intensity of those periods is yet to be seen, and it would need to be something she has a history of doing. Everything she has listed has been accurate to a degree, but she's missing the point of ADHD. ADHD is a disorder that renders you unable to function in many, many of your life, especially for those who seek diagnosis once they are adults. She may have symptoms, but she isn't building up a profile of a person with ADHD. I'm not saying she doesn't have it, but the proof she has given so far is entirely unconvincing, and as she has a history of compulsive lying, I wouldn't put it past her. I just hopes she sees her psychiatrist first and takes her goddamn meds.

Something interesting to note - having adhd doesn’t mean you can’t read a lot but very much can affect your attention, often leading to a lot of started books, a huge unfinished library, etc buuuuuut afantasia which our gorl claims to have does in fact lead people to dislike books because guess what they can’t do - dive into other worlds as this does not require but does depend on the ability to imagine and reading long descriptive books would lead to issues with that. So while not impossible even if she has both, highly highly unlikely that she would enjoy books over a visual stimulant like movies which she says

I have anxiety and ADHD, which she claims to have both, and I don't forget about my work, instead I get extremely stressed about not being able to focus on it, bc of my anxiety. Which leads me to believe she doesn't have either - if she had anxiety she'd be more anxious about getting work done (like if someone who didn't receive an order from me complained, I'd instantly get stressed about it. She didn't care). It's just fishy af to me. She uses her health as an excuse. And when she does get diagnosed with things she doesn't even take medication properly, it's just for 'poor me' points.

Hyper focused, not hyper obbessed. I hate it when people use the word obsessed instead of focused because to some extent it doesn't ring true. I have ADD and ADHD and an off med (due to some other stuff). It is something you can fully manage without meds, it just takes years of practice and hard dedication and some days are better than others. Medicine does make it so much easier though. Just the terminology in her explaining what it's like just doesn't sound correct… it just--It rubs me south.

Not only that but she’s getting being hyper focused on something confused with interest lead motivation. Us with ADHD can only find the motivation to do something when we’re interested in it. That’s not hyperfocus or hyperfixation, that’s just how our brains find motivation.

'I take meds for anxiety, which doesn't work to be honest.' It took my entire life to get an anxiety diagnosis and then finally take my meds and stop having panic attacks----and this girls comes here and says her meds 'don't work'. Can I say 'fuck you, Amber'? 'Cause feels necessary. Either she doesn't have anxiety or isn't taking her meds properly, bc speaking from self experience, anxiety meds hella WORK.

@7:35 I'm convinced she's put a great deal of stress on Becky with break up games, testing Becky, and just to hurt her, when she's referring to wanting to break up with Becky before. I think she used men as leverage over Becky, because Becky was afraid Amberlynn would leave her for a guy. An example of her putting stress on Becky, that one video telling her that she doesn't care if she gets to 600 lbs, and wanted to know what Becky had to say, and if she would leave her. She would make up these scenarios just to stress Becky out. Really she is over 600 lbs, and just wanted to see Becky get visually distressed, and gear her distressed, imo, because she enjoys hurting her.

As a psychology student, psychologists and psychiatrists don’t like when someone says they think they have a specific disorder or illness. If you have it, you will be able to present it or explain how certain aspects are affecting you day-to-day. Plenty of people fit into multiple categories of psychiatric disorders but it doesn’t mean they have it so it shouldn’t be assumed. Talk to your doctor, psychologist, or psychiatrist if anything is affecting you on a frequent basis :)

As a regular person, i was unsuccessful at presenting my daily symptoms to doctors for 20 years until one finally understood what I meant, gave me standard medication, and entirely fixed me. And that was just asthma. Which I had as a kid, and told them that. So no, your wrong. It’s very hard to explain what your symptoms are for chronic diseases, because you’ve NEVER EXPERIENCED LIFE ANY OTHER WAY. You will be a shitty counsellor because you are against this common sense.

@@M_SC I was thinking the same thing. Whenever asked how adhd impacts my life, I would struggle to tell you before I got medicated; I didn’t know how good things could be. I’d likely default to my struggle to keep on task/attention issues too 🤷🏻
@Ko.babybee
@Ko.babybee 2 жыл бұрын
@@M_SC I myself have multiple chronic illnesses and have had to explain how they affect me even though I’ve lived with it my whole life. If you’re having issues with one doctor/psychologist/psychiatrist, you should find another. There has to be a connection. It’s ok to get a second opinion and to be persistent but to tell them you have something specifically will seem like you want it to be true. People often get upset if it ends up they didn’t have what they think they have. It took me years to get diagnosed with BPD and I wanted to tell my psychologist that I believed I had it but they needed to observe it themselves. There’s also the issue with those who want to take medication for the wrong reasons, they’ll still have to wait to diagnose you even if you tell them. But I’m sorry, you had to wait so long for your asthma diagnosis. It really does suck. I think I will be a good psychologist though, I pay attention and I listen to others.

I’m looking at ADHD diagnosis and I’m just so AAAGH. I can’t afford it, and COVID has shut all the clinics that do diagnoses. She needs to get her head out of her ass and just go get assessed if she wants to. She’s a cash payer and can be in next week. I am looking at months long waiting lists and expensive co pay I struggle at University because I can’t read something I’m not interested in to the point I can’t do my prescribed readings/content for essays. So frustrated with her trying to come up with excuses. She’s going to blame everything on things she can’t control, THAT’S why she wants ADHD or Bipolar, because those are biochemical and neurodivergent. She wants to be a victim and have things to blame her own behaviour on. No honey. It’s so bad I’ve been diagnosed with BPD. It could be the BPD or undiagnosed ADHD or heck even both. She speaks so blasé about it. It does not make you quirky amber. I am so mad
