Heather Lynn my ex narc had a lot of aquatantices not long time friends becusse the control and power people get tired of it. It was crazy I had to change my number 4 times since June. Change emails. Block block block on social media. I got a Hoover letter a day before Easter it looked more like I was an object .I am forgiven now. I had to deal with flying monkeys .I am a bad influence and she told me I have a big mouth and someone should beat me up and leave in the street bleeding .right after the Hoover she set up another fake Facebook and blasted me .ite crazy I was the one who was mentally abused and she still Is trying to stalk me .I hsd to cut off toxic people. If I could offer a suggestion to you, it would be to go to the police and YOU file the restraining order before she does it to you and makes you look bad!! And the other thing is I would do my very best to be like a gray rock in her presence and a “gray man” in her world as much as you can. Where you are the ghost that disappears. No attention to the Narc! No emotion! You could have your phone ready to record any stalking that she does to you and file any violations with the police department. This is all about power and control with these people. You can take yours back! it feels so good! You can take your self respect because it belongs to YOU! (A MAN! ... Yes and predictable! I have never been with a Narcissist until I met one 2 years ago and got into a relationship with them. It took me that long to figure them out. They were doctor diagnosed as bipolar so I always excused their behavior because of that until I could no longer handle the verbal abuse. They actually suffer from self-loathing (and often shame) and so need love and validation from others. They do have lots of friends. The reason for that is because they mirror everyone. They are monsters as well. Once you let them know you see their truth. They will treat you like crap and disappear. Because you're not feeding their Ego anymore. They sometimes come back when they want to use you for something. If you don't pay attention, you could easily fall into their trap. They'll play the blame game, and blame you for everything. If you choose to speak to them , the best thing you could give them is a business card for therapy.

And made fun of me for loving him. I can truly say, death would have been easier at that moment! But the girl didn’t want anything-to do with him, thank God, because at that moment, I could have just literally died. He carried this on for 3 months going after her, while I was totally broken ,& wouldn’t even talk to me. After the discard, I was so confused because he was sweet and gentle during the discard! So I'm crying from confusion, and I told him, "you are having an affair." His response was, "If you divorce me, you will get nothing." I responded, I will get the house, children, child support, and a job....you won't be around!! In instinctily, I knew to not ever engage in a conversation with him. So, I ignored everything he said to me! I got an attorney, and papers were served! Before the divorce was even thought of, I attended a meeting for women where the guest speaker was an attorney! I knew then, if I ever needed an attorney, she is the one! Five years later, I hired her!! She won me our small home business, and I got an RN position! I am a Christian, and acknowledge that through the Sovereign Providence and Predestination of God, I am led by him! Amen

Yea he told on himself all the time. One of our last convos when I was still getting hoovered "let me prove to you" (after he broke up with me, then wanted me back blah blah same sh*t diffferent day) he said, "come on I'm not the type to f*ck you and leave" there was no reason for him to say that but he did, because that was his plan. one more f*ck and leave. I figured out that is his ultimate discard, I think he uses it to make one more crazy making episode so then he can change his mind and say HE dodged a bullet. At that moment a family member called me and I found out he was already with someone else.. I blocked him right there and then and started cleaning up the fucking chaos he left. I swear to rise up and I am for those before me and after me, for myself. F*ck him and those like him. This was karmic yea but also it just sucked, because along the way I knew it was fake and I knew it wasn't healthy I just couldn't f*cking get out. I'm just glad I did and I'm happy even though its tough getting my shit together. Realizing my background and why I fell for this. But I already know I'll be ok. He provided a fantasy that I lived through, I paid for the ride now I'm off and out the amusement park.

I just finished a relationship with a female narc (divorced single mom 2 kids). She was nice when nice. Made me breakfast and said i love you all the time. She said she encouraged me to live my life yet demanded my time all the time. But i defended myself and found her life a mess, broke as hell. She physically assaulted me when in anger, slapped me 3 times and kicking, silent treatment, etc. I am confrontative and like to talk things, she said i was the crazy one despite her being in debt and broke all the time. Always trying to play the jealous card....and also being jealous. Last fight she seemed so angry, more than i have ever seen her, she was saying i dont have to kiss you get away while i said i love you. As i asked about our relationship she yelled you are not my BF anymore. She left her office and i did minutes later. Later that night she was texting me i love you. 4 emails thursday. Changed my phone number for safety. She sent Messages on Fb too.. apologizing for reacting like that with "the best guy who came into her life" (selfish she sounded) .saturday i blocked her for good. I feel......guilty, ashamed, exhausted trying to help her....she promised a future together...etc...was this a lesson for me....big time... no tears just questions. God knows why i survived.

Like I could have been forgiving and reasonable-but I think her self hatred and core shame makes them want to have a good reason to have an axe to grind with someone. they like the conflict. Long story short my ex narc Got engaged five months after we broke up ,I dated her when I was 22 she was cheating on me with multiple people left me for another guy got married had a kid ,She came back when I was 35 swear she was a better woman after having a child and apologize for all the terrible things she did to me when I was 22 after some time went by it was the same thing she was even worse than the first time I dated her cheated on me with multiple people she had lots of mistresses at times she would admit she had a big problem and she wanted to change I would drive her to therapy talk to our family doctor about it she would change for a week and then she was right back to her old self this happened numerous times, I suffer from depression and PTSD From all the stuff it’s not until I was older the second time going out with her I realized the effects that dating someone with this type of personality has on your mental health she put me through And I only realized it from watching these videos and educating myself on psychology narcissism these past few years ,It was terrible☹️ I lost my self-worth felt like committing suicide I felt really stupid for giving her another chance after the first time she left me married someone else and had a kid I felt like a dumb dumb I always thought if you love someone and support them they can change but that’s not the case with narcissists, but I’m doing a lot better now finally I’ve been through hell and back I don’t really talk about it Because I’m a guy And people like her are very good at playing the victim as we all now She had her new supply/Boyfriend Write me threatening messages on social media she had him wrapped around her little finger with love bombing her playing the victim and making it seem like I was abusive person In reality she is the abusive person, I Wish him luck he’s going to need it when the love bombing stage is over lol I’ve Been go through a lot of abusive relationships Don’t ever think it’s just women Toxic abuse is not gender based it’s about what type of personality and character you have it’s about the way you grew up in your childhood and how your parents taught you to be! Anthony jr Can I ask details of what made her worse ? I have a similar situation but it’s someone who I loved when I was young but he was too immature and drank excessively. I came back to him in our 30’s think g he grew up and things would be different, but I learned if we ever had a conflict he had made 5 accounts on different dating sites. I confronted him the first time and he pretended a friend of his that visited had made them for him as a joke. I let it slide that time even though I was suspicious. Then come to find out a few years later of living together, same behavior when we had a bad disagreement, he’s make his dating profile. He’s leave to go on trips with his boys internationally and leave me home in the dust. I’m trying to process wtf was that behavior????

Anthony jr I am trying to figure out if I was with one. Made me so confused but he was a liar to the core. On a drunken night out with friends one friend called him a narcissist and they both laughed. I thought that was such a strange thing to joke and or laugh about. I had always thought the friend to have narcissistic traits as he’s very obviously an overt one but I had never known about covert narcissistic people. there were so many things that didn’t make sense. My ex used to say how no other man would want me yet I was the one who had several long term relationships and he had had none. Then he said I was a spiteful grudge holder when again it was him being malicious and I did not have that reputation. They accuse you of what they are themselves I think it is an attempt to gain acceptance because they say how lucky you are to have them because you are so terrible yet it is them that are terrible and their projecting themselves just makes it worse. Somehow they must know how they really are. I am a decent and experienced cook yet my ex would chronically complain about meals others enjoy while never preparing anything for us himself. Been suffering and crying every other day over this. I have blocked him and unblocked him over a hundred times. I felt I was going crazy. This man verbally abused me and lied to me saying he was a single man when he was not. I do agree that their community of narcissists and flying monkeys is insignificantly small to the rest of the world. Its when you are with them, they shrink your world, and it feels like their world, their friends, family are the only ones. There is a true division of powers, because if their whole family is a bunch of narcissists they will contribute to making you feel like their needs, wants, and opinions are more important... They would throw these parties, and put pictures on FACEBOOK(narc city), to look like they are having fun, but the parties frankly sucked, everyone on a phone, or just everyone sitting around with 50 different conversations all about themselves.

This video made me feel a bit better. I've been REALLY upset lately to find out that my ex narcissist boyfriend has a new girlfriend. He does NOT deserve to be happy and find "love" again after what he did to me!! It's been 2.5 years since I finally escaped his abuse and I STILL cannot bring myself to date again. I've been single and celibate ever since. And he is on to his next victim like NOTHING happened. Not only that, but he has lots of "friends" that he brags about on social media (always tagging them on instagram and facebook to brag about how social he is) and it makes me feel miserable to know that he is so social and happy. But now I realize it's all FAKE!!! He's not happy. His friends aren't real friends. And his relationship isn't real either. His GF will probably leave him once he shows his true face. He will never find true happiness and that makes me feel better! But it sure does sting to see him have a temporary toy (i.e. his new victim) to give him a false sense of happiness for the time being.

Wow! You mentioned everything my narc use to say. "I love you. I'll be there for you until I die. I'll always take care of and make sure you have everything you need." and so on. Now that I decided to take no more abuse and go No Contact, he is punishing me and trying to make sure I'm left without a penny. But even if that happens, at least I have my peace and my mind, because he was driving me crazy. Thanks for your video.

my ex husband was cheating on me after i was diagnoised with an inoperable brain tumor, left me on the streets alone cold and disabled. he has been w her for 3 yrs now... i dont understand how they make it work and he was so abusive to me... its been an awful hard journey, he malnipulated the courts put me in the mental hospital and got custody of our daughter.. he is so mean to her he talks with disgust in his voice all the time. im fighting to get her back and it sucks he still is in my life still causing me to become ill ... i wish the universe would just take care of him, so my sweet girl can be loved all the time!

I can't move away from my narcissist, but I've been reconnecting with old friends and making new friends. As my support circle grows, the world of the narcissist is shrinking just like you say! Can't thank you enough, Kevin! What we all need SO BADLY is validation of the abuse we experienced. People who haven't been "touched" by a narcissist haven't a clue. My Covert Narc husband was extremely abusive brutal really & cruel isolated me too before I even knew at times what happened. I was yelled at put down so much. He is a very good manipulator liar & even played Victim called police once on me they didn’t believe him at all & told me leave him he’s an abuser & he smeared me to etc.. I’ve been no contact see him hovering calling me too-I tell others they think I’m making this sh&t up & some people close to me that knew him. I repeat it over & over-saying no I wish I were though. Therese Meggitt I did too! Having the time of my life until a cancer dx brought her to my doorstep to help us for 8wks! Then when she saw our new home being built she moved here to “take care of me if it comes back & her only grandson is here” they lasted 3yrs. No contact made them flee!

Thank you so much- the example that you used was exactly what I had been struggling with- I hadn’t had sex since I got saved, (about five years) because I wanted that to be for my husband.... this guy peruses hard, convinced me that he had prayed about it, wanted to be my husband, and we were basically committed in that way anyway. So we started doing that, and two weeks later devaluation and discard- out of nowhere... but I’ve been feeling like it’s hard to detach because I committed with my soul and body, and for me, that was a really big deal... so this video was a HUGE help. I had a friend who I stood beside when she went through her worst times and we had a sister friend relationship.. then I was getting married , she was having family problems, she wouldn’t answer my calls. when I got my house she complained that she won’t see me as often again. Then my first pregnancy I waited 3mths to share, and when she saw her husband hugged me in congratulations, she said she hate to burst my bubble but her in-law is pregnant too ( her 2nd).. 😔

I have some narcissistic family member living together in one home They just don't care about me at all. When I had really bad time they just didn't do nothing to help me not gave me even sympathy at all. They focus only on themselves. I really hurted then. And decided to cut them off. But still now They are the same narcs living in my home bcoz it's not in my hand to throw them out of our house, but now I have learn some boundaries by watching videos of your's. It's helpful. Their world is SO small! That is SO true! The few times I looked in on my narc ex-friend - before I blocked her completely a short time after I walked away - I saw that she hangs around with the same small handful of people all the time! Since I got away from her and got my SELF back, my TRUE self, I've met so MANY new people and connected with so many! As a guitarist, I met the people I admired since I was young and interacted with them! My whole world opened up once I left her behind!

Mine bailed on our engagement and was engaged the next week and married within 4 months. Triangulated me and her new husband who is very wealthy so she would get what she wanted. Now married as the 3rd wife ... 4 kids from his first 2 marriages and she has cut off totally her only daughter because she was "disrespected" by her. So sad the length these people stay stuck in thier ego driven world and will lose the ones they should be cherishing. I wanted to blow the wistle on her and tell this guy exactly what she had been up to when this all came into view for me ... it was the hardest thing for me not to do this cuz I did realize if I had no doubt I would be made out to be the crazy one. Buyer beware I always say ... and he did buy her ... just not the goods he expected with no return policy. I pray for his kids and her daughter but I only see lots of madness and pain for all involved. So crazy the damage these individuals cause ... but Karma does level set all ... a new life ... tons of money ... trips ... clothes ... but no daughter in her life now ... and me ... a guy that would have done anything for her if she started to deal with her disorder ... but the monster rules. Anyone out there who thinks we can help these people ...even after its all over and after understanding NPD and all the abuse we have endured ... dont try .. let them go ... they dont want help ... they actually like how they are on the outside and cant face the inner damage to even try to fix themselves. Remember ... they are perfect ! Just pissed I waisted 2 years in the relationship and 2 more years figuring out what the hell I was dealing with and healing. But now I thank the NARC for this 2 years of becoming a much better version of myself ... eductaed on NPD ... and am now in a very loving unconditional relationship and hope to get married in the next year. Hang in there all ... we will survive and thrive after the NARC and be better for it. New things come from friction and pain ... fire is created with friction ... so we need this to grow and be better. Always remember that when you ask "why me?" ... its your time to be the best you ever ... so be strong all !

I made this Narc wait 10 dates and then many gifts later we started to have some intimacy. I forbade him from friending me on Facebook from the inception. “too much exposure” said I (a very private person). One day after he bailed out on HIS birthday, I returned his gifts to Macy’s and spent the money on myself. I never heard from him again. It’s over 3 months and I am glad it’s done.
