Fun Fact: I literally got this game in a bundle with my computer. It was a Cisnet NASCAR PC. It was basically a Windows XP, but with a NASCAR design on it. It did cost I think almost 100$ more than your average Windows XP but it also came with NASCAR SimRacing, a steering wheel, and petals to play said NASCAR SimRacing. I remember getting it at Best Buy. Good times, good times.

The truck series and busch series get intros in NASCAR 2005 and NASCAR 06 at the pre-race menus. That's actually where that audio came from.

It's funny to hear you mention the difficulty thing. NR2003 has the same problem, each track has different AI strength but you can only pick one in a championship.

Here's an idea Radman: Turn on invulnerability Go backwards until you're the only car left running save the replay and watch the destruction. I don't know about on controller, but if you use a mouse and keyboard, you should be able to directly view any car in the field during the replay. That can be your send-off to EA thinking they could make a simulation style game.

Btw, I think all of the PC versions of the Thunder games also use the ISI motor engine. I recommend testing them out in the future because they're quite intresting.

there is a way to get the setups for each series you have to go to test session go to garage save the setup then go to your sim racing folder then save folder scroll down and you will see the CTS, NNS, and NCS Setups for each track copy and paste those setups in there series folder and once you load a track your setups will be there in the garage

Pretty sure you could just make the difficulty based on the easier tracks and then I also think for the harder tracks you just need a setup
