I, personally, watch your videos because of your editing. Those funny transitions and chill music are giving a cozy vibe. Also I like how well you express yourself with subtitles. You make it feel like a live reaction, when you didn't know about something or explain your thought process about strategy you're using, etc.

Long behind the scenes this time around. Strap in. Whenever you have the chance again, I´d recommend trying out Bramble Bush against All-Stars and Chair Racers. You´d be very surprised at the results compared to Gumnut. I was in charge of organizing the LTE again, with my levels being 1 and 10. I am the fabled lane 5 imp spawner man. Obviously, with The Nanny being our antagonist this time around, there were a lot of imps to work with. Made for a pretty unique LTE making experience this go around as levels ended up rushier than the usual standards we set up for ourselves sometime ago, but that was perfect for the character that we wanted to built with The Nanny and her level design. This also marks the first LTE where we started using carnie content! So expect these clowns to show up more moving forward. For level specific stories: In 4 we had a constant back and forth whether banning Puff was okay or not. We went from yeah to nah often, but ultimately decided on nah as the heavy amounts of barrel rollers would just prevent them from existing later. Ultimately I feel like it may have been better to ban it, but then you´d get people asking why werent other 0 cost plants banned. Twas a bit odd, but it didnt really make the level that worse imo. 5´s theme was just the fact Beghouled gets used a lot. Dialogue goes into it. Its funny. Not sure if the level was actually built upon a theme but now that you mentioned it, orange plants really fit here. I´d have to ask the level creator sometime. 6... did you know this had a butter objective originally? It was too much, so we just made it ambush based fully, which turned it into my favorite level of the LTE. Funny how that works. Great PSA btw. Dont smoke kids! 7 it was my idea to bring a black friday level to the LTE. Gives us an excuse to use Zcorp zombies and it fits the season as well. The fact it gets so frantic too is fitting for the theme. 8 I think it was just a really fun concept and idea. Super silly objective, and really fun too. Glad we made it work as well as it ended up being. Also fuck the people who disliked the last video. I always find your videos super relaxing to watch and I personally get sick of talking youtubers overreacting to levels, so personally I´d see it as a downgrade rather than improving on what you´re already doing well. This is probably me being partially upset you think this as I too am only a text youtuber, but still. Dont let that shit discourage you from doing videos the way you want to do them. ANYWAYS, 9 is another one of my favorites. The irony that this level was made by the same guy who made Children´s Day 10 this year isnt lost on me, so having the tiny imps here just made it that more funny. Didnt take away from the overall level being fun though. Great choice of sonic music, btw! And for 10, my other level, I just went with a simple miniboss level. Though, whats funny about this one was the backlash I got for not wanting to use the miniboss music. I dont consider Turkey Boss a miniboss and I still dont, but the debate got so heated I even got one of the now retired RFL leads to make a level JUST to prove me wrong (which he did. That entire story is on my channel).

I thought the Hero-Con vid was lovely, and I enjoy these videos very much. I think the retroactive examinations of the level and the exclamations at what would've been surprising makes for a viewing/reading experience unique, engaging, and rewatchable; Which is only possible in the text format! I would be disappointed if these ever *permanently* stopped having text, but you've done Live Voice over in the streams and I think it can be done here too. (And don't worry about dislikes. Almost everybody does not give what videos they like and dislike a 2nd thought, heck most people don't give them a 1st thought.)

2:34 Bramble can remove the armor in some zombies like buckets and cones like a magnet shroom and it can stop the zombi indefinitely unlike gumnut where you rely on the health of the zombis for the gum to last some time, bramble for that reason excels way better in the early game since it can be counted like a mine with three uses for one single lane whereas gumnut excels with the crowds late game

I honestly really prefer the text-only gameplay. it allows for the player's thoughts to be more concise and avoid repeating themselves, among other problems with voice commentary. plus, your commentary style doesn't really need a voice since you don't go for jokes often, which isn't a bad thing (and even then, if you really decided you want to make more jokes, some of them land better in text anyway)

while watching i was pretty excited to see what you did for level 3 since the seedbank was really fun to come up with something for, and you definitely didn't disappoint! personally i went for electric currant, sweet potato, parsnip, melonpult, and pumpkin strat just occasionally replacing or plantfooding the pumpkins when they got low. i never really thought of using blastberry or bonkchoy for a level like this but hey levels that limit your choices definitely make for some weird strats

I watched the entire last video, and I literally saw zero reason to dislike it more than any of your other videos (which isn't to say your other videos are dislikable, I love your content!) Something to take from that is that hate without criticism is nothing. There is nothing to get from it. There is nowhere to grow when someone shits on something without giving a proper reason or advice. It's good that you asked for reasons so that you can improve, it shows integrity! But, ultimately, just trust that if you really had some glaring issue that you needed to fix, it would be pointed out. And people that dislike shit just to dislike it are not worth giving attention; focus on what works for you! Hell, if you want to try a fully commentated video, go for it. Personally I enjoy your videos of this style, simple and clean, reading what you are saying or commenting during the levels, it is entertaining, And then I can put your videos back in the background because of the variety of music you put on, which is also appreciated for varying between levels, maybe people gave it a thumbs down because you uploaded it late? I don't know, but like you said, it's better to take your time and make a nice video than rush it. I think voice stuff should be reserved for streams or the occasional ends of videos. I'd like to share my thoughts about the text-based format you do in your videos. Personally, I find it appealing and entertaining to watch your video in text-based format. I believe that in these kinds of games or gameplay, this format is better than with voice or commentary. Moreover, it's just simpler and easier to understand, and it's just my cup of tea. Nonetheless, I still watch videos in voice format, KZbinrs like FusionZGamer, RCCH, and most Minecraft KZbinrs. Otherwise when it's text-based format, there is a long list, but notable ones include ShyGuyMask, Detara, MagmaMusen (older videos), TheJizzy, and mTurboGamer, which are all great guys with great content. Nothing, I just felt like including them here. And I'd like to mention that you are like the descendant after ShyGuyMask and Detara, both of which used to upload PvZ content, it terms of the usage of text. It's sad that Shy put a stop on his KZbinr journey although he would still upload some clips if he wants to, and Detara is busy with life. And you got it right, I really love text-based format, giving me more reasons to watch your content, Flag 💪 If I were to suggest, I'd like you to keep the text-based format as it is. However, of course, it's all, and always up to you, keep it up and continue cooking with these content! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

about the dislikes on the other video: I dont think you need to change anything right now. These type of videos are just perfect in my opinion. I have 2 free hour every day I spend half of it with you. My guess why that video is disliked is that if you called a mediocre plant bad. Thats a really good way to get disliked. I mean, even I would get angry if someone called vanilla caulipower bad. Besides that from what I remember in that video you talked about some levels arent that good designed(I may not remember it correctly) and people may not liked that. If I learned one thing about youtube community that would be that so many people get angry if you tell any negative opinion(even if its right). But besides that, great video! I love you vids. I really like your videos, i dont know why they would get disliked, specially the hero con because nothing was wrong with it. Although, i do prefer voiced videos, just because i don't have much free time(because of work and studies) anymore and most of the time i tend to watch videos on KZbin by only hearing then and occasionally looking at the screen, so most of the time i watch then during the weekends or when im during a meal. But i imagine a lot of people (specially children) come to the videos expecting a voice and dont have patience to read during the video.But i really like them, your commentaries and opinions on reflourished are great, and watching someone else playing through these challanges and seeing different strategies is fun. And your Chinese over analyzing videos are some of the best explicative videos on youtube about videogame mechanics

What your doing is fine. I like your content in part because of the text format. If I wanted to watch pvz with someone's voice, theres people who do that already. To be honest, people might be disliking to get content out of their algorithms. Not to say your stuff is bad, but just to more refine suggestions. As an early game tool to save space, Bramble Bush kind of acts as a more more powerful Celery Stalker except it's more volatile while dealing damage. A Bush with an Escape Root arsenal could dispose of early waves easily.

They probably removed sapling turning the zombies Orange to convey that it's the sap tiles that are slowing the zombies down and not a status effect like snow pea

Regarding the voice thing, I dont mind the text over gameplay style. I grew up on this kind of stuff. The only porblem for me is that I cant watch these videos at work due to having to keep my phone off to the side while doing testing. If you likw doing it the way you do it, pop off king.

I don't hate your videos, in fact, I've been waiting for it for quite long I really do enjoy your videos, like what you mentioned, it took time to edit and add stuffs, and etc. to make quality products. Sure it will be much easier if you just post the raw matches you played on youtube without editing but it won't be funny like how you used to do. In my opinion, I think you don't have to change, just do it like you used to do
