I once had a substitute teacher in 6th grade who basically said “your teacher wants me to read chapter 4 to you guys and discuss it….. but I want to talk about the JFK assassination for an hour instead, so we’ll do that.” He proceeded to arrange desks in the shape of a Lincoln Continental limo and place us sixth graders in the positions of everyone in the car that day. He stood on a counter in the back of the room and played the role of Oswald from an elevated position. We went through the whole series of events, he explained everything in order and with incredible detail off the dome. He knew the specific elevation Oswald was down to the foot and the exact trajectory each bullet took, everything it hit, and where the bullet ended up. He knew the exact make and model of the firearm used by Oswald, he knew what cartridges he was loading into it, he knew how many seconds it would take a skilled shooter to get off 3 shots with it…. The man was an encyclopedia of JFK assassination knowledge. He was clearly passionate about the JFK assassination…. certainly more than he was about reading “the outsiders” and discussing it. That day really sticks out in my memory because I was more engaged and interested that day than I was in any other day in all of my years of education. He even showed a room full of 12 year olds the unedited Zapruder film. Most of us had never seen it. The basic argument he was putting forward was “if he was hit from the back from an elevated position, why is the exit would on the back of his head? Why did his head move backward as he was shot in the back of the head instead of forward? How does that make sense kids?” Never saw him again in my life. I think about him all the time. **** edit, I forgot to mention, yours truly was given the honor of playing the role of JFK in the demonstration.

Conspiracies notwithstanding, the physics of ballistics can do weird things when bullets hit flesh and bone. The Carcano rifle cartridge is a weird, old school domed bullet. These can tumble as they travel, plus domed bullets can sometimes 'ride' around the skull (in a headshot) and exit in unpredictable places. Basically, don't expect the exit hole to be in a straight line from the entrance. As for the Lincoln Continental limo, some of the seats were higher than others, which could explain the "magic bullet theory". I believe the Mythbusters did a whole episode on the JFK assassination back in the mid-2000's, it was pretty well researched with actual re-enactments done. It's worth checking out.

I agree with your sentiment and most of your points, but the last one is incorrect. Ruby killed Oswald in 1963, but he died in 1967, which is a bit more than 40 days afterward. I say this because I definitely believe there was a conspiracy behind JFK’s assassination, but know that we have to be super careful with what we assert as 100% true. Otherwise, we are giving ammunition to those defending the official story so that they could dismiss us as crazy quacks.

There’s a robust reasoning as to why the government classifies information like this for a vast amount of time. It’s so the current generation at the time of such an event like JKF assassination doesn’t turn into protest and/or rioting by average citizens. So the purpose of declassifying info many decades later is the newer generations who weren’t around at the time of an event will less likely be angry and less likely to promote petitions to the government in a hostile way that could possibly disrupt the governments power control of the people within its borders.

Here the thing about law. Inevitably, we are forced to trust the agencies that are tasked with enforcing them to also abide by them. Historically, these entities start believing they are above them because the ends justify the means. Our elected officials and the people they appoint are supposed to be serving/representing the people. What we have, instead, are unchecked organizations of those who will lie, steal and bribe to stay in power in order to serve their own best interests. This alone should demand mandatory term limits on all elected and appointed positions.

Lee Harvey’s widow lives on my street here in Texas. Her house is extremely hidden and once a year news crews line up outside although I’ve never seen a segment or article come from the visits. Even more interesting, an old motorcycle cop from the presidential brigade that day also lives around here and won’t SAY but heavily emphasizes with his eyebrows that there were multiple shooters.
