@@bigbangrafa8435 Because Jimmy is a fraud who literally lies on camera. When you spend your life studying the subject, then hear a muppet like him, one might be irritated. Here's a few examples: - on this podcast he said the idea of pyramid being tombs was made up by the XIX century European explorers...in realty, Herodotus told us they are tombs since the 5th century B.C., the Egyptians themselves told us they are tombs and the pyramid of Menkaure has a an inscription carved on its granite casing, literally saying Menkaure was buried inside. - he said there are no texts inside any pyramid - not true, look at the pyramid texts, found inside the 5th and 6th dynasty pyramids - he said no bodies were ever found in any pyramid - which again, is false - in one of his video he said Egyptologists claim the Great Pyramid is older then the Step Pyramid. Once again, it's the other way around... The guy is clueless. He doesn't care about science, history nor logic, he cares about the views and money.

Alot of what this guy says about the geologic formation in africa does not support his views directly and he is asking for hidden motives when you can probably just apply occam's razor. Hi, I used to live in Mauritania. I never went to the Richat structure, as it's in an area that we were not allowed to go to for security reasons, but I met people who had been there, and when I visited places in the desert in the north of the country (not too far from the Structure) with a guide, he told us that they find sea shells all around the Richat structure, which is another clue that that part of the Sahara was probably at one time under the sea. Also, I've been told that the northern area of the structure are cliffs and that you can see where ancient river / waterfalls probably came over those high grounds, which would have been a great source of fresh water. In the account from Solan he apparently speaks of higher ground to the north of Atlantis, as well as other details that coincide with the formation we see at the Richat structure. I was told that as the structure is spread out over such a large area that when you're there on the ground it doesn't look like much, and there's nothing really to see. It can only be seen well when flying over it in a plane, or from satellite images as shown in this video.

Within the last year, I watched a documentary about how the pyramids were made. They have uncovered and translated an ancient papyrus that said that the Nile river was much closer to pyramids and they were able to divert the waters to the pyramids to help transport stone. So the block of stone used were approx 1 ton bricks. Egyptologists were able to determine that it was easily feasible to transport stone the way it was described in this special ancient papyrus. It was a journal entry from a pyramid foreman who was overseeing the construction of the temple. It was super fascinating to watch. Anyway, my point is, their was a body of water that most likely extended from Mauritania to Egypt. The point was that their was a massive body of water next to the pyramids that obviously is not longer there today.

He doesn't want to teach or inform, he only wants to amuse & attract... Obsessing over the latter is what makes for a poor education. Nothing wrong with amusement, of course... but this douche thinks so highly of himself for "educating the masses". Good old Papa Joseph sees right through the guy, as I was noticing in the podcast. I respect Joe for still being bold enough to convey minor hints of passive disrespect when his guest is unrespectable. Most people just clam up & mind their manners with a polite little grin, thinking it makes them mature & respectful. I was thinking this dude was a dickbutt most of the podcast. Anyone interested in this subject should read Platos' Timaeus. When I first encountered this story in college it absolutely blew my mind. The account is oddly too specific to be dismissed. If the account of Plato is to be taken seriously, Atlantis was a global super power due to its navy and strategic location, and it was intent on enslaving the entire world. According to Plato, the Ancient Egyptians claimed that much of the world either fled or surrendered to Atlantis' navy with the exception being Athens. and that ancient Athens alone stopped Atlantis in a battle of truly epic proportions, but shortly afterwards a seismic event not only destroyed Atlantis but completely altered the worlds terrain and that for a long time the ancient site of Atlantis could not be navigated to as it was left a muddy mess. Atlantis was almost certainly a real place, it's just a matter of where (somewhere near the Atlantic ocean west of the pillars of Hercules) is where many believe it to be. Diodorus Siculus also talks about Atlantis as well as Herodutus.

I watched a very convincing show about this location possibly being Atlantis years ago. Nobody seemed to pay attention at the time & I never understood why. Even this many years later, I still think it is the most convincing theory that I've seen. I'm going to try to find that show again, even though I don't remember who's theory it was or what show it was on. I just hope the original person gets credit for his theory. This is the first I've heard of it since then, so I don't know.

What blows me away is the fact that "modern" humans have been around for around 300,000 years, and yet we barely know anything (if anything) beyond 12,000 years about our modern human ancestors. Keeping in mind the constant changing of the Earth, it's very possible that many human civilizations have come and gone. There is a lot of room within 300,000 years and something that kind of saddens me is that the Earth is like a very slow eraser and we may never really know much more beyond what the Earth hasn't yet erased. An insane amount of human history is unknown.
@BobbyLawblaw693 жыл бұрын
300,000 years of human history is probably not much more than what we usually do, surviving, making home, getting food, eating, sleeping, shitting, fucking, raising young, fighting, getting sick... There's definitely a few impressive periods of human history but the vast majority of it is just a bunch of apes living and dying.

A lot of human history was purposefully destroyed when the Library of Alexandria was burned. And I'm more than certain that the Vatican vault is also hiding a lot of historical information for the purpose of maintaining the church's mind control and power.

Out of all the places Atlantis might of been, this is by far the most compelling. Its completely possible that the land there had resin up in a short period of time to cause all the water to run off or be displaced. It would even explain the great flood that is talked about in the bible. This guys theory makes prefect sense that at one time in the past the whole Northern area was much lower and was a shallow ocean. And the Recot was an island. They have even found whale bones there, 200 miles from the currant oceans position.

Honestly. He puts up great intellectual arguments about things we know and don’t know. Sometimes the truth is stretched but he admits that he may be completely wrong, which is a huge trait so many scientists and internet experts who think they know more than everyone else lack. We know there was a civilization/s that exist that had a widespread impact on the entire planet over 11,600+ years ago. It may not be that spot but you have got to love his enthusiasm and excitement over the topic. He’s open to criticism and allows his ideas to be challenged because he is also trying to figure out the truth; and that’s how you come to form better, more factual theories. He seems like a genuinely great guy. Also with the scientific knowledge we have now of some sort of massive space debris hitting earth 11,600ish years ago, it really makes sense that a location would have existed that connected so many different locations around the globe as all sorts of languages were being spoken and goods being traded. Think about all of the stories in whichever religion you are…they all are essentially the same concepts and ideas but they follow different paths based on which culture is telling them. Every place on the earth talks about a great flood and catastrophe and it all makes sense why so many of the same ideas exist in all parts of the world where they seemingly have zero connection with one another in the much more known 2,000BC - 1,000AD range. It’s because at one point in time there was a location which connected most of the globe, and those ideas, theories, literally everything were shared. Plus if you were alive before common day technology and a comet or asteroid or meteor struck the earth and caused a massive flood, you would 100% without a doubt believe some sort of god/goddess was reigning destruction down on the lands. The human mind both primitively and present day always needs answers and reasons for why things occur, so it’s easy to see how radical ideas of being punished for sins or things you thought were immoral was the cause. Therefore spawning off hundreds of strings of religions and everything else. I’m not rereading this lmao. Just typing out my thoughts as they come so ignore the grammar/context errors.
@Simon-nv5zj2 жыл бұрын
what do you mean 'we know' there was a civilization/s that existed that had widespread impact on the planet?
@jkjkjkjkjk5372 жыл бұрын
@@Simon-nv5zj There were anomalies that were found beneath massive ice sheets thawing near Greenland. The surface erosion due to water flow was preserved perfectly under the ice for all these years and it could have only been because of a massive flood. Other strange mysteries like clear signs of water erosion on the surface of the sphynx and the how the pyramids were actually built remain unanswered to this day. The theories are fascinating and are certainly worth a debate if only to figure out what happened. Maybe the answer is a fairly boring one that Atlantis was a normal big ancient city that was wiped out because of a natural disaster and the name itself is a fictional one created by later generations to remember this tragedy. Embellishments over the centuries gave the place almost a mythical status.
@jonathananderson79902 жыл бұрын
See my mind always goes to evolution and how long it must have taken us to become what we are today. In my mind it suggests that perhaps 10's of or 100-200 thousand years worth of more or less the same species "us" having the legitimate brain power we have today! In conclusion there was most likely dozens to hundreds of civilizations come and gone before us. Just to add a little excitement, you could think about an ancient Plato, or Leonardo or Aristotle, and I mean maybe even Tesla "unlikely" but it's amazing to dream about what they might have been capable of in the civilizations before us. In my mind it's almost undoubtable, when seeing how every culture has similarities in myths and we end up finding out that there is credible evidence that it's possible. In my mind if more than three or four people, across different cultures and time periods speak on the same subject. It's hard not to suggest is more than likely true to some extent. If I had it my way, I'd fund every person willing to go to these sites and dig for years. Could you image finding a SINGLE book or script from ANY unknown civilization, finding where the clue suggests ANOTHER lost city, and instead of 2-3,000 years of history we have 6,000 or 10,000 years of history to uncover. Like a foreign world almost with different species described in an unknown, recently uncoded language talking about their daily life, politics, religion, with new ancient kings and Queens. Phew, gets me want to start digging.

Being a renowned KZbinr basically requires a person to become pretentious & confounded, like this guy is. This guy is a pseudo-teacher; he encourages his audience of gerbils to believe they are being taught something meaningful & relevant, when they actually aren't even learning a thing from him. He seems too used to just throwing his fun facts at gerbils that won't think twice, or even critically for that matter.
