Sebaiknya Drew jadi guru privat ibu negara mrs potus hahaha. Melania sudah tinggal di US selama 20 tahun. Setiap hari bicara dengan mr trump, keluarga dan teman-temannya orang Amerika tapi aksen Melania masih tetap slovenia wkwkwk. Melania is my best example (and excuse) that american english speaking with native accent is so hard to master even though you live in US for 20 years. Terima kasih Drew!

... I think that when you study English you should make an emphasis on mastering vowel reductions (the use of the schwa sound) and word linking and the cadence or rhythm of spoken English from the beginning so you don't acquire bad pronunciation habits ... that helps you with everything else ... unfortunately not all English teachers explain this to you and for me it is the most important thing ...

So natives learn pronunciation by reading minimal pairs?
@EnglishAnyone

Of course this isn't the ONLY things natives do, but distilling the language down into clear, contrasting components is the best way for NON-natives to distinguish sounds, understand/apply spelling rules and develop pronunciation. :)
