This is true, especially when they do those damn baby hairs and have on those big ass eye lashes. They're faces tend to look crowded and as if its dirty. I see some wig install videos online and when i check the comments everyone is saying how the style ate down or whatever, but i am there thinking, are we looking at the same video?

lace wigs were expensive in 2011. Everyone and their mama has one now. Who still believes that? Women who live in the food on food stamps have quality lace wigs that are laid to the gods.

I’ve been natural for 20 years and don’t think natural hair is of lower standard or childish of course. I do however think when anyone no matter their race, hair texture or class styles their hair in only two ponytails puff or buns is wearing a signature kid style because that’s how kids of all races creeds and colors have their hair styled at some point or another. Nothing wrong with that if that’s your style but it is what it is. Anyone who doesn’t believe it just google two ponytails and look at the images that come up.
@sunkissedkhala7 ай бұрын
I agree. While two ponytails may not be a mature style for an office, or formal setting, it’s totally fine for casual settings. The texture of the hair isn’t mature or immature, it’s the style you wear it in

2 ponytail puffs was always my jam in my 20s because i dont like to do more than two sections and i dont like to do less than that as my crown gets tangled. my hair goes in spiral curls there so they get very very tangly, more so than my 4c children's hair. and more than two? why, when two is just so much easier for me to comb out. on the occasion that i do a french roll or something, i love it while it lasts, but i regret it when it's time to detangle. so what kids got to do with me an my hair? the style belongs to the wearer.

Now that we touched the subject of wigs, can we talk about the braided hair one ? Like it we don't wear wig, we have to braid our hair I think we just hate our natural hair😭 I only braid my hair 4 to 5 times a year (with breaks in between just wearing it natural) and people ask me why I don't braid my hair that much
@Tinuola7 ай бұрын
😂😂 4-5 times a year is pretty good. I don’t even think I braid my hair that often. And people asking why you wear more of your natural hair is just weird. But then again, we understand why that is. Do what makes you whole and happy sis! You can silence the haterrrs🤭

Certain natural hair does indeed looks childish not when it's in a wash n go but a puff ponytail can make people look like there going to third grade sometimes. If you think about a head full of cornrows with your natural hair was usually worn when you were a little girl so yes that's childish looking if we had all grown up in precolonial Africa it would be the norm to wear many of these styles but a lot of does look like a school girl. Some people who are naturally dainty and cute looking in the face pull it off better.
