I've been saying this years ago about Steven Adams. Playing with Westbrook really affected his rebounding numbers.

As a Laker fan, I was upset when they traded Hart because I knew he was a great all around player but they gave up on him too early. If you saw him in college and during the lakers games he did contribute pretty well and he was consistent. It sucks they gave up on him too early

yeah, lakers literally were first on the west and won a championship the year they trade Hart and the rest of the young group. Pick your poison guys, you wanna grow your stars but you wanna be on the play off almost every year. you can have both unless you get an spontaneus dinasty and with lonzo.ingram,kuz,hart, you were good but not championship team at all. If you wanna trade people are gonna ask for your good young players. No body is gonna take your bench riders/G leaguers for stars and good rol players

@@bonibones9654 Well no I agree, but I’m sure he was going to the lakers either way he expressed heavy interest and he was going to become a free agent which is why people were confused about the trade since they had a solid roster of young players. Sure it didn’t work with Lonzo or Ingram, but I’m sure if they still had them the team would’ve been younger and better

I think I speak for all Knick fans when I say I love Josh Hart. Dude plays hard every game, sticks D and brings a winning mentality and intensity that seems to lift the team whenever he's on the floor. Hope he stays a Knick for many years as he's had a massive impact on the team since the deadline and now in the Playoffs where it counts.

I remember during his Nets career, people were saying if you combine his offense with his brother's defense, he would be the ultimate center. He became that a couple years later after coming to the Bucks though he changed from a low post threat to a 3 point threat.

I hate it so much! Before I looked at the trade, I heard Kyrie was coming to Dallas. I was excited for 2 secs before instantly saying “they traded Doe, huh?”. They have to find a wing defender this summer or they’re screwed.

Steven adams is so underrated. He's honestly been one of my favorite players for years. He provides so much on the floor but just isnt a star in any one category besides rebounding so he gets little recognition

Great great video. Players like this are extremely vital to every Championship team out there. Players who do the little things and fight for every posession. GP II and Looney for the Dubs last season, Lopez for the Bucks, Green for the Lakers and Raptors back to back, Iguodala for the Dubs dynasty, Thompson for the Cavs... the list goes on and on. Unsung heros that are highly respected by their teammates, but forgotten by the press and the casual fans.

I think Josh Hart and Marcus Smart fit this category really well. Hart with his tough defense and scoring mentality while also getting it done on the glass too. Same goes for Smart. He’s the Celtics main guy when it comes to defense. He sets the tone for the rest of the team. A guy who is irreplaceable.

Brooks career is unbelievable, he’s a scorer early in his career, became one of the best shooters in NBA, and now brook is a top 5 defenders in NBA 😮

Adams is strong AF. The man simply occupies a space below the rim and there is no way you can push or box him out. If the rebound drops his direction, you cannot stop Adams from getting it.

I love this list and couldn't agree more. I'm a Celtics fan and would put Al horford or Derrick white to the list in addition to Smart. It's because of those three if we win a championship. The Jay's are amazing but those three give our team guts.

0:57 Julius Randle didn't get too many offensive rebounds is because he was always waiting at the arc to shoot threes. But Josh Hart is on Playoffs mode! Why Brooklyn Nets trade away Brook Lopez is the biggest mystery in Nets franchise history. Marcus Smart? His name says it all.

Kenrich Williams should be on here before he got injured he was one of OKCs most important players he does everything on the court but it doesn’t show up in the box score and on defense he takes the most charges in the league and guards 1-5 and he’s only 6’7

Lopez needs to come with an asterisk next to his name after this playoffs series. Man has been underwhelming in every game and an absolute ghost in crunch time. Intangibles don't mean shit if you're not producing them when it counts. It was a similar story in their exit against the Celtics in last year's playoffs run.

Intangible players are something everyone wants to be especially if they're not the most skilled, but never wants to give credit when it's not them. To the casual fan, Josh Hart or Jarred Vanderbilt are absolute nobodies, but without them their teams wouldn't have near the amount of success.
