When you are serious & genuinely interested in the work you do it shows, like this guy Manish Sisodia who is the Education Minister in Delhi Government by AAP. Need more such people in every field of governance.... I hadn't intended to make a political statement but people from AAP have consistently differentiated themselves from those of typical parties (CONG BJP etc) as far as intentions and good will & concern towards people's issues is concerned. (how many good people you've seen from BJP-CONG? if they are they're sidelined by their greedy political masters, rendering them useless) If you want such people in important govt. bodies, it's our responsibility to give such parties full majority & give them a good chance to perform.

Once a gov school teacher was hired in a private school, the teacher tells students please do not study too much.. "bahot mat padho...padh padh kar tota ban javoge, aur tota ban gaye fir udd (fly) javoge" Unfortunately, the principal found it and fired the teacher. In gov school, teachers are not even bothered about students. It is not the fault of teachers, it is the fault of process that recruits such teachers. Whoever is at fault, the victims are students and their parents :(

I have heard that like in Dubai, KHDA inspectors are there, similarly in India there are Education Inspectors who visit schools to see how students are learning. Is this duty also of our Education Minister to inspect the class, different subjects that are taught.

At 22:43 Manish Sisodia is technically wrong in saying "When I am teaching Pythagoras to my students..." as it is Pythagoras Theorem which is taught. You can talk about Pythagoras - mathematician but not teach Pythagoras.

The best schools are the private ICSE/CBSE/International schools. They have the best faculty because they pay the highest salaries, they have the most updated and modern syllabus (they teach Java programming in the 9th standard). The government, municipal schools are substandard - the teachers salaries are very low, the syllabus is outdated, very little to no extra Curricular activities. Either way, the testing methodology does not test hands on skills and application of knowledge
