Pranab Mukherjee today told NDTV that though he was superseded for the country's top job, he holds no grudge against the man under whom he served as a union minister for eight years till he was elected President of India. "Dr Manmohan Singh was the right person to be chosen to lead the country at that point of time and serving under him... I can say with confidence that he provided the right leadership to the nation as Prime Minister."

Pranab rightly said Sonia chose right person Madmohan as PM at that situation. The need of situation was to loot the country and needs a policeman who obey theifs Order. My condolences on the demise of President Pranab Mukherjea, a master politician and great president. I heard in the temple that on 15th August 2020, he was brain dead mentally but physically alive on the 15th of August 2020 with masked oxygen or ventilator. After multiple organ failure, he passed away on 31st August 2020.

Yes, congress has a long history and it is congressmen to decide which leader to choose as party president. However, this decisive nature of congress party was sabotaged by Nehru and family post independence. Sardar vallabh bhai patel was to be prime minister after independence, if congress had heard people and their congress men consensus. Lal bahdur shastri was getting bigger than Nehru family, but reached to his demise. PV narasimha rao, sita ram kesri, Rajesh pilot, madhav rao scindhia and of course ex PM manmohan singh inability to rise above Sonia Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi being party president is just an addition to the black spot on Congress history of nepotism where only one family matters.
