It's human nature. Some great comments here. Then there are those along the lines of, "Neal looks sick, is he okay?", or "Neal looks tired and worn out!". Neal is fine. We just need to look in the mirror and notice that we're all getting a bit older. But, the inner man is being renewed day by day! Enjoy the music!

Morse should be named in the same sentence with Jon Anderson, Peter Gabriel, and Jan Hammer for being a gifted melody writer!
@NathanEllery3 жыл бұрын
Yes he should but this album is 'less' Neal. He have said he came in with no ideas and a bunch of stuff from Bill and Eric. Now I doubt it's possible to keep Neal from spilling ideas from that head but credit where credit is due.
@jimmcgrath35813 жыл бұрын
In prog circles he is with a bunch of others including Roine Stoldt from the Flower Kings. I don't think Jan Hammer is nearly as talented as any of the others mentioned, by you or me. I can be a snob. But putting J.H. in the list is like saying Kenny G. Belongs in the same sentence with Myles Davis and Pat Metheny.
@lmp97263 жыл бұрын
@@jimmcgrath3581 Tell that to Jeff Beck who cites one of Jan Hammer's albums as very influential. It's not that you're a "snob", but just like ill-informed. Jan Hammer played in the original Mahavishnu Orchestra, for fuck's sake. I've seen Miles and Pat Metheny live, too, but MO would be too heavy for them. If you re-read my statement, I was talking about "gifted melody writer". You know, like Lennon/McCartney, Burt Bacharach, Steven Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Joni Mitchell, Miles, Brian Wilson, etc. Jan Hammer was able to bring his monstrous chops to Miami Vice--albeit with an 80s sound--but his work is rock solid. TOP NOTCH melodies!
