Opera is incredibly controversial right now and I'm not sure it's a great idea promoting it to people who do not know its legitimate security concerns. From what I read, Norwegian Consumer Council released a report confirming that Opera sends personal user data including search history to a Chinese company (China has terrible privacy laws and requires that its companies share personal user data with its government). Opera is, itself, owned by a Chinese conglomerate. It's especially insidious because people think they are being safe by using their VPN. Basically, y'all can do what you want with your data, but people should at least be aware, so I am not sure it's a great thing to promote is all I'm saying.

I don’t even watch any other speed runners. I do watch summoning salt and a few other gaming channels. But no actual speed runners except for Mitch! I love his videos.

Have save state and any time you do something dumb in a run punish yourself by having to do Forbidden P speed before you can go back to what you were doing.

What is the consequence of a failure of the forbidden P-speed? Can't you attempt it every time and then proceed if it fails? what is the potential time loss?

As I understand it: Risk #1: taking damage from the first chain chomp. Risk #2: missing the ledge between the chain chomps and hitting the ground much later than you would in the "standard" strat. This would in turn delay when you get P speed down the line.

if you fail to get the forbidden p-speed, cant you just fall back on normal p-speed? The other two p-speed tricks require you to commit but Forbidden looks like you could try it every run, and if you don't get it you just get normal p-speed instead.

You keep using the word "strat," and I don't think you mean the guitar. I believe the right word here is "tactic." Strategy is like, the overall plan or goal. A tactic is a small component of the plan and how it's done. The strategy is to go as fast as possible through as much of the level as possible.
