I guess the main reason was to provide a "starter island" to the player followed by a dungeon to set the mood of the mod :p and with the starter island I can make it "safe" for a player to make the choice with the altar of foresight and the landing area to go to skyrim again, or take a breather! Thank you for playing it!

The mod itself is pretty unique and quite fun, but yea, some of the voice acting could stand some work...especially the voice of the downed soldier after the bridge. You can tell that no de-esser or pop screen was used...a very harsh recording.

Yes, I tried to explain the earthquake, it was detailed in the book in the ruins! The order of the Lamp was indeed present at Olenveld many years after they were created and ended up being "separated" from the main branch. (this was creative decision, but I still think its lore possible) Hence why they were still there when the great collapse happened. and the book explains how the "orb" messes with time

George sorry to bother you again, i came across a DLC mod its 580 mbs its called Ashe Crystal Heart , its by Marty the person who did SDA it looks brilliant

They really need to remove the standard guard dialogue from this mod. These people are not supposed to know about the events in Skyrim, yet the guards know about the dragons, the problems at the College of Winterhold etc.

It hurts to say it but so far Olenveld hasn't been the best. The voice acting and writing for dialogue is rather poor, for example we talk to complete strangers as if they were our best and oldest of friends. It may be just me, but I also feel like things happen too quickly and without any room to breathe

Nah... I'm sorry if you feel like this. Many people enjoyed the story, some did not. I'm basically done with the mod, only bugfixes from now on and a possible 1.2 release with all the fixes included.

I am very much enjoying the mod, the worldspace feels well done, I'm liking characters like Eredin and Gromm, and rebuilding the city was a fun experience.

@@0periodproductions great to hear! but also great to hear constructive feedback and improvement ideas nonetheless! I fully admit, some things get overlooked deep into development and as a solo dev, really pushed my skills a bit, but i'm proud people enjoy it!
