That's 100% ok with me! We need you to get more views on the main channel to keep your KZbin revenue flowing! Also one thing about the vlogs, I think revealing your finished results are also ruining the Free Mow Friday videos. It takes away the mystery and I stopped watching the vlogs because of that. Maybe only show the property but don't show any of the action. Also it looks like maybe you need to try a different string on your trimmer? That was cutting through the dirt about as bad as my 20v DeWalt trimmer lol. It would be cool to try out different strings and state them in your videos. Thanks! From Wisconsin USA.

Someone in Housing felt the pressure from the scrutiny of the public eye. Great job Tim in finding a way to kick them into gear and do the rest of the job. The front side of the yard was definitely done by a certified lawn detailer. 👏The back side, not so much but it still looks so much better.🤷♀️

Council didn’t want to be publicly shamed so they quickly sent a team to do the backyard. Too late, Council is a day late and a dollar short. Community ought to recall them and have them removed from their positions. There is a critical housing shortage and the council is neglecting these vacant homes and letting them rott.

Thousands of people are in desperate need of housing and on the verge of homelessness. This home Tim is mowing looks in good shape and when he finished it looks really nice and move-in ready for new tenants. I wonder how many more homes are vacant and just rotting away. It is always puzzling when the pavement stops just short of being a complete run. Really good for you that you videoed the water meter and the damaged valve stem with the trimmed space around it, showing that you are not the one that did the damage. Just in case the council tries to make you pay for the damage repair.

@@kwells8807 I agree. I have mentioned the meters a couple of times. Where I am ( near Atlanta, GA. USA ) , they would never make a single winter. They would freeze and burst. Here the water meters are buried at least 12 inches down inside a meter box. In some areas I have seen the gas meter out near the street / highway above ground surrounded by a steel cage painted yellow to protect it.

@@AUmarcus What you see above ground is basically just the outlet. The water is cut off anywhere between 3 and 5 feet down. The part you see has a stem that goes down to the valve.

To be fair, there is no way the Department of Housing are going to pay for the quality of work that Tim does. They'll have tendered for lawn maintenance across their properties and selected mostly the lowest tenders that met the bare minimum of requirements.

@@DonnaKnower_sez Could be a result of the previous tenant making it unlivable. I know a number that have required stripping back to the frame due to the disgusting state they were in or due to having been a meth cook house. Minimal maintenance by Housing probably doesn't help though.

I’m a healthy OCD and that’s why I watch your channels. I’ve never said “Oh you missed that or hey why didn’t you edge that”? I knew you weren’t gonna leave that sidewalk unfinished. That edging was at least 1/4 way covering the sidewalk. Not sure if you had to edge the other side (neighbors) driveway but I bet they loved it. You never disappoint Tim. Govt want to approach upcoming elections with a "Surplus Budget". They do that by not spending on govt housing maintenance, Then they either get re-elected and realise they didn't need to do it because the party were still voted in, or the new govt thinks "If they didn't do it why should we?". Liberal State Govt near me have a habit of selling any govt owned property, services or businesses.

Here's an idea: why can't the government sponsor young people in trade apprenticeship to fix up these government houses? No one will trash a place they personally worked on, and their family will be safe while they finish their apprenticeship and get work experience. If their aren't enough builders, make more builders!

Seeing you kicking spillover dirt and grass while trimming edges reminds me of an invention made by MD lawn care, a father-son duo. They invented the shoevel (shoe shovel) so they can kick the dirt without damaging their shoes. 😁
