The purpose of the Nemesis's coat was not to hide his appearance but as armor with a power limiter built in to control his mutation. If you notice that the coat gets burned off at the clock tower and he begins to mutate almost instantly.

to add on the the coat served two purposes . 1 to reduce incoming damage like a flak jacket . 2 most importantly it was restrain his body mutation after taking severe damage .. kind of like william birkin closer to death he got he mutated more also some similair tyrants had trench coat

With how good the RE2 remake was, it is very likely that an up to date remake of RE3 will be hard as balls to beat. Some people see it as the weaker entry in the series, but it was meant to be more of a mix of action/survival horror, so it was less scary than 2 was, putting more emphasis on action. I loved 1 and 2, but I greatly loved 3.

Have you ever wondered why aren´t there any zombie rats in the entire franchise? (At least RE2 and RE3) It was comfirmed that rats were responsible of spreading the virus to Racoon city. If rats were directly exposed to the virus, where are the mutations? If nothing happened, do rats have some kind of natural resistance to the virus?

From my understanding the Nemesis is a Tyrant but with extra features to make up for the lack of intelligence that Tyrants have. He can understand objectives and will not run into pointless danger for no reasons. He will not attack anyone else than his objective, for example Mickail, if he didn't try to stop the Nemesis by attacking him he would have ignored the injured soldier since he wouldn't have been an obstacle to his objective. And as for the coat, it was to prevent him from mutating any more than necessary and also protect him.

OK so the only Resident Evil games I have played is 6 and ORC and so I was wondering which re should I start off with for horror? I don't want to play re 7 because I like the 3rd person view and I have grown attached to Chris and Leon so I was thinking I should play a game with one of them in it (particularly Leon). Also quick note I am the "competent" when it comes to horror though I think I could manage playing 1, 2, 4, and 5. It's 3 I'm worried about (Nemesis) so yeah.

The Umbrella Corporation is not evil. Evil implies malice, and bad things done for the sake of just causing harm. Umbrella was responsible for horrific things but they were not done for the sake of cruelty, but rather were done for a sociopathic desire for "progress" and or for profit, depending on the individual. Some employees were evil I suppose, but for the most part they weren't evil, just without consciences.
