Commentary vids were a lot more fun in general before people realized they could get paid well to make them. RLM appeals to me because it feels like a holdover. This is life :D The real problem with these KZbin movie people is, that they claim to do film journalism and movie reviews, but all they do is sit on a chair and fillibuster about their opinions. they NEVER talk about character arcs, plot structure, cinematography or anything of actual substance that would make their opinions worth listening to. You never learn ANYTHING while watching those people talk about film, because more often than not, they have no idea what they are talking about. The first 15min of Mr.Plinketts Phantom Menace review taught me more about filmmaking than 2 years of Collider Movie Talk.

Danny Miller pretty certain the darkest superhero right now is Black Panther but not because he's black but because his costume is black.
@dannymiller77447 жыл бұрын
orangeapples Martha's the key to all this, without her Batman and Superman wouldn't have been besties..without Martha..there won't be a Justice League..Martha's the key to all this..

How does it feel watching the industry you love devolve a little more every year into a dystopian corporate wasteland?
@sartanko7 жыл бұрын
It feels more like the original Dawn of the Dead.

further evidence to my personal theory that most people think Superman died at the end of BvS because they all turned away from the screen before the dirt moved to tell the person next to them "this movie sucked"

OKay, I just have to say. As a nerd who has totally bought into the comic book movies, I was initially turned off by the satire. Then, like slowly acclimating to a hot tub, I learned to love this soooooo much. This is the podcast we need. This is a glorious cold glass of water. It's refreshing, and sooo coool.
