These new types of software that use machine learning or ai based technology keep on surprising me. This will cut down our render times by like, a couple decades. Kudos to the Blender, and also you for the super fast super fun video!

Yeah, this thing lets you render good images at literally one sample per pixel. Imagine after a couple years cycles will render in real time while Eevee will be used to render hours of video in minutes - super-realtime rendering

thanks! CGMatter...and to render a video, make sure to check the use node button at the top of the compositor. If It renders an image and it becomes full black when it denoises, check for the denoiser node in the compositor it changed the "denoise" node to "unknown" (It must be a bug )

I noticed this Denoise AI node gives much better denoising results than other types of denoisers, it is the closest to being perfect and makes the render actually look final as if it was really rendered fully with many more samples than it actualy did because of how good this denoise of Intel is.

I was just playing with this since learning about it yesterday on blender today. I was cranking out 4 sample renders with denoising. As long as there's no intricate patterns it seems to do okay. If there are intricate patterns you need to turn the samples up a bit or it will just make them into a blur. Pretty awesome. EEVEE is making strides too though so sometimes the results look acceptable when compared to cycles.
