I typically always adore Porsche's commercials. This way by far one of the worst ads I've ever been subjected to. The creator tried WAY too hard to be trendy to the point that that the new car was barely visible. Shockingly horrendous.

It tells you all about the direction that Porsche's marketing team is taking. Since this has been an issue for two years now, it also tells you a lot about where the company as a whole is heading. None of it is good. Making ads that not only do not appeal to your purchasers but are actually repellent to them is not a wise move. Go woke, go broke. Watching this stupidity in real time.

@@gonschor7dleven The standard Macan costs 60k$ and yes… many can afford it which is why is their most selling SUV. Yes, the EV version is more expensive but the demographic of the Macan is still more varied than other models. I am considering getting one and I am not a doctor. You can afford nice things if you have your Investments in check instead of spending them on 💩.

And if you're some sort of power investor, you're not buying a Macan anyway, you're more likely to be a top-trim Cayenne or Panamera buyer.

Also why does the ALL ELECTRIC seem to have a petrol/Gasoline over dub noise to it every time they show it? I thought it was all electric. Cumon Porsche you used to be about the cars. They do not. Porsche took a lot of heat for this when they introduced the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S. They made the claim that the word "Turbo", in their corporate parlance, denoted the high-powered variants in their lineups, much like "M" is used for BMW. They do have a point because while many 911s have turbos, only the Big T turbo gets the name, indicating it's status and power as the top dog. I think it is stupid but that's how they do it.

EVs are heavy however they have a good weight balance compared to the front mounted engine. Due to the battery placement in the middle of the platform, they have really good in the corners. Same ICE engines may have understeer but EVs have better handling❤️🤜

Great looking Macan from the split seconds I can get a view. Where are we at with the synthetic fuels? Electric is simply not practical. Charging is comparable to petrol costs for m the US, range estimates are unreliable and lower than petrol variants, and a road trips are not feasible.

I likke my Macan S with PSE, pushing from 0-130 just for the sound notes, the PDK smooth shifting etc. Super disappointed they retired ICE on Macan... Should have done like Cayenne or Pana ...
