I'm from Bonney Lake Washington State. I've just got back into golfing after 30 plus year hiatus. I've been hit the simulator at a local course using the hit analyzer. I've gotten my driver speed up from around a 85 to 90 mph head speed to a consistent 100 mph hitting up to 105 mph. This was before watching this video. I'm going to try some of your drills and see if I can get that head speed even higher on a consistent basis. I'm 52 and can use all the help I can find, and this looks promising. I've also noticed the faster I get the strater my shots have been. A average increase of 60% and better.

Todd love your videos , just the right amount of time 5-7 minuets with simple straight forward advice that is easy to follow. Been working on this exact thing (club back faster) last few months. Most pros hit the ball within 0.85-1.0 seconds from the time they start the takeaway and I would say the majority is under the 1.0 time. The GOAT Jack Nicklaus hovered the club and Bubba had happy feet. Will work on this during the winter months here in North Dakota!

Excellent drills Todd for golfers to swing faster! I like the step back with the golf club drill because I feel my problem is lack of pivot into my back leg. I will definitely be working on this! Well Done Todd! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the video. I have a question. Why is it necessary to shift weight to the back foot and then to the front? I ask this because I have kept my weight forward on 6 iron through my wedges for the past 10 years or so. I am now 70 and a 6 handicap and can still carry a driver 225 yards consistently. I bump my left hip forward at setup and that puts about 55%-60-% of the weight on my front/left foot and I just keep it there throughout the whole golf swing. I have found more consistent iron contact as I have gotten older doing that. With longer clubs like the driver, I still bump my left hip to get better tilt but I really stay more centered with maybe a bit more pressure on my back foot on the backswing. But I would not call it loading onto the right foot. It is just a bit more pressure. Thanks!!

Playing hockey all my life has always been a benefit for my golf game. And, most all my teammates were good golfers too. We all have great leg/ground connection and can drive the sh*t out of the ball. Now, with increasing the speed of the swing wiyour methods will almost be unfair! 😂. I love it! 😁
