I just bought the slim7i and am very happy with my purchase. By tweaking the settings for better battery life I'm getting almost 8 and a half hours of battery life while using word, excel and watching videos on the go. I'm also able to game at the highest settings which is great. I have the lower end RTX 4060 with the i7 CPU with the 240Hz screen. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone who wants versatility between work, school and gaming.

I just bought your exact configuration (RTX 4060/i7/240Hz/500 nit screen), it's arriving tomorrow - I'm very excited. I saw a review that the RTX 4060 with the i7 is about 10% slower (all around) than the RTX 4070/i9 configuration. IMHO that's not much difference in speed (at this level), especially when you consider the $$ savings between the two specs. Adding another 16GB of RAM (32GB total) might speed up productivity though, but won't do much for gaming since most games don't require more than 16GB RAM. Personally, I'll be sticking with 16GB of RAM until proven I need more than that, no sense wasting money.

Od get it too but they have faulty power jacks. Will get loose and not charge.

@@aaronsaju9766 to get the best battery life do the following. Set screen brightness to 20 percent then turn on windows best power efficiency mode and not battery saver mode. Set laptop to hybrid GPU mode in vantage software and finally set laptop to quiet mode.

Some specs listed are wrong: You talked about thunderbolt while displaying the SD card slot The screen is 16 inch 16:10, not 15.6 The display options are not full hd and 4k, but 1200p, 1600p and 2000p, and in the case of 1600p the refresh rate is 240hz instead of 165hz

If you're going to game a lot, would recommend going for the lower resolution panel. 3.2k resolution means lower fps in games.
