To everyone whos wants to know if it works with the update . NOT THE BOSS because the jump has been updated.But the bird falling works perfectly fine if you hit it through the two trees.With a few attempts it becomes easy and you can reach 100 level in no time .

I've found the extra tree does make it much more consistent, you need to manually aim though.

A better way to do it is to first get enough blood arrows or anything then jump on top of the tombstone and shoot him with fletched arrows to stagger him once, when he falls go inside and he will be bugged out and u can kill him. DO NOT STAGGER HIM AGAIN he will start to move again if you do take your time. Your welcome

After killing Godrick, return the first steps grace to speak with him in which he'll tell you to visit the two fingers at roundhold table. Do so and return once more to The First Steps grace and that message should be there. Afterwards you can proceed as the video instructs you to. Heres a tip for those that are stuck at the madness tower/invader part. To avoid the madness you have to hide behind the rocks and whatever other obstacles to get out of the towers line of sight when its firing. The tower can only damage you IF it sees you. You also DONT need to fight the invader npc at the church. Just run past him and collect the items. If he kills you after youve collected the items then thats fine **Climbing the tower and killing the enemies up there will also disable the madness flame thing

So for those people who "accidentally" killed Varre and doesnt know if you can still get here. Yes you still can, but you might have to progress far enough in the story. Get the first half of the secret medallion at Village of Albinaurics, the second half can be gotten at Castle Sol on the Mountaintop of the Giants, then go back to the Grand lift of Rold, choose secret medallion then there's a place up there named Yelough Ruins, at the back there's a portal there that can transport you to Moghwyn's Palace

@@waynestraeter9286 unfortunately not, if you aren´t already overleveled, have an OP build or are really good at dodgingand engaging. if you play normal just summon ash as first action then try to kill his summons as fast as possible, the one with two swords first then the spear guy. after that let your summon get the aggro and hit him if hes not focused on you or if not possible keep distance to the boss and try to lure him and wait for his jump, role before he lands and land your own hits on him. dodging his big moves as much as possible this was the "easiest" way for me(still died for 4hours straigt im really not good)^^. Even though at that time i was around lvl 80 with 28 vigor and 45 dex 40 wisdom and moonveil +8 and imitation slime +5 he was so hard that i almost gave up on that region :´( and just because i accidently attacke varre and even reloading wouldnt stop his aggro :`(

To those having trouble getting it to fall off the cliff: I had the same issue, but positioning is important. I was shooting from the bonfire, and it was just walking along the edge. Like in the video, you have to be near the first leftmost enemy sitting down on the cliff, and the bird will consistently fall down.

You CAN do it feet away from the bonfire and don't have to go way over by the enemies, as long as you back out of his line of sight asap after your arrow hits him. If you know your arrow will hit him, move backwards before the arrow hits and he'll fall every time.

For those of you trying this after the 3/16/22 patch, I'm 90% sure they moved the stone you jump from at 8:09 in the video backwards so you cannot perform the jump. Standing on the initial pedestal and comparing screens, the stone is moved away from the ledge now. The message on top the stone is also now hovering in the air instead of on the stone.

So I found a way to get the bird for everyone thinking it got patched. Do NOT lock onto the bird because I noticed that triggers a standoff between you and the bird instead of that chicken running off that ledge. Also make sure the bird is always turned around he always never jumps off when he is facing towards you .What I do is I use the crosshairs,(Hold LB for xbox or L1 for ps4/5 PC idk your preferred method) (if its set as right hand weapon then RB or R1) and aim at the bird and fire. As soon as you hit the bird and see the red bar hurry up and run back so he wouldn't see you then you should see your runes add up because he ran off the ledge . If it doesn't work then go back to the grace point and do it again OR just wait until the encounter music turns off that means the bird isn't focusing on you anymore . Then repeat the process .

targeting doesn't really matter; as mentioned below, it really has to do with the location where you're taking your shots from. I tried manually targeting and was getting no where until I did the precise place where TagBack did his first shot. I'm auto targeting now and it works fine.

You gotta jump twice. The first time is to enable sprint without back stepping. Like when you just tap o or b whatever. You back step, but when you jump in the air you don't. This puts you insprint mode. So jump first and hold the sprint/backstep/dodge but don't move and hold the button. Then you try to jump to the ledge. I hope I explained it well. It took me a second to get it but after I got the concept I made it on my 4th attempt

For those stuck on the jumping part: Jump and hold your sprint button and keep holding it, when you land you can wait a couple seconds before moving forward and jumping. Also Light attack to get more air and height. A legend below ( @David Cosme ) mentioned that if you light melee attack after your jump you'll get a higher jump, which is how I did it. PS that boss wall is called a fog wall...

Also, tip for shutting down the Salron eye of madness. Make your way to the tower and get inside. Climb the ladders until you are just below the top platform. There are like 7 enemies there you need to kill. Craft some fire or poison pots, summon your horse and throw the pots at the floor above you. The poison/fire will go through the floor and kill the enemies above you shutting off the eye.

You can also go to the four belfries. Go to the very top to get the imbue stone key then go to the second pillar to teleport to the very beginning Kill the boss head to the church and theres the first dead maiden to get the blood

For the jump part try calling your mount and then trigger the sprint animation. The second the animation is over press up on the left stick and jump and it should work. Takes a-couple times to get used to it but it works. The exploit is so worth it. This boss is nasty.

When farming the bird, add straight arrow talisman as well, can hit the bird, as soon as you see it start to fall you can hit the site of grace immediately, you'll still get your coins and can immediately back out and repeat. Did the bird rune farm. Best way I have found is use rock sling. When you spawn back up after resting, wait until the bird takes the last step in your direction (right before it turns around), then cast the spell. Quickest way and it runs off every time. 3 million runes in

You don’t need to fight the NPC to get the bloody cloth! If you’re just starting out looking to do this just run straight to the maiden to obtain what you need and also touch the grace! If you haven’t gotten the bloody cloth the first time, leave and teleport back to that spot via Grace it won’t trigger the NPC and you’ll get your bloody cloth then.

If you're an int build, just use hoarfrost stomp ash of war to one hit aoe farm those mobs from that grace point, you can also use the starscourge greatsword as an alternate, which gains far faster runes over the chicken. when you get enough from the chicken you can alternate to this method, and you could add the chicken in between.

Church of Inhibition might be *closer* but Chapel of Anticipation (game start revisited) is also good. Go to the Four Belfries in Liurnia of the Lakes (North western part of map) and use an Imbued Sword Key. There's one freebie there. Use the maiden's blood past the boss where you first awoke.

Finally got it. Step 1: Jump Step 2: press the sprint key ( o in case of ps5) Step 3: let the character land in same place but don’t let go of sprint key Step 4: now jump forward from that place *Make sure the character is on firm footing on platform. If not the jump wud fall short

Love your videos man! For this farm, if you are lucky enough to have access to the radahn greatsword, or any large damaging AOE spell, the enemies along the path net an extra 45k-50k. For an extra 30 seconds, ive been shooting the blood chicken and using the starcaller cry on the groups of enemies and I make about 65k in total per rest averaging about 6 mil per hour!

Just felt like I needed to make this for you guys. Because Rahdan is a nightmare and this farm can really help you fight him. This is an actual quest line. The steps are below 1. Talk to Varre where he will tell you to take out Margit 2. Take down Margit (talk to Rodericka to get jellyfish summon. Will help so much) 3. Talk to Varre again. 4. Take out Godrick. (Hard fight, learn his move set which is very easy to understand. If possible use distance magic) 5. Speak to Varre again. Who will tell you to go to round table. 6. At round table go up the steps and the locked door will be open. 7. Speak to 2 fingers. 8. Go back to first step and Varre will no longer be there. 9. Follow video tutorial!! 10. Enjoy the farm. You Tarnished, Maiden-less fool! EDIT: Tip, so recommend taking out the tower and killing the sorcerers at the top to stop the madness from happening. Makes it much easier. If you don’t want to do that stand behind cover to make sure your madness bar doesn’t fill up.

Since it wasn't noted in the video. A. You can't ride Torrent in this area. B. There is a giant skelly for the second farm that one shots you (I was a level 91) and C. Spend the runes before attempting the second rune farm, because I lost 600K runes like an idiot.

For those having trouble getting up. An easier way for me is right when you get on the big tomb pillar to jump, behind it is another tomb thingy acts as a ledge for you. Drop down onto it face the the big tomb pillar and the direction you are going to go. Jump onto the top of the big tomb pillar while holding the sprint button and as soon as you land jump across, this should give you a little more time to trigger the sprint button. The ledge just gives you a better start imo. Hopefully this helps. The standing in place trying to get the sprint button to trigger was too hard for me. FYI I got it the first time doing it my way but jumped back down to test it before giving you guys the tip and it worked a majority of the time. Praise the bug!

to add to this, I held down the sprint button, jump onto the little statue, then jumped onto the tall tomb --all while still holding down the sprint button. from there, just jump over to the ledge. I can't tell you how much easier that was then following the instructions on the video. Got it on my 2nd try that way.

For the people that are having trouble doing the jump, the thing that confused me is that i thought you were supposed to jump + sprint right away. What you are really are supposed to do is there are two steps. First jump IN PLACE and hold your sprint button while your in the air. Then after that you are going to be standing still, however you should be holding your sprint button. Then finally just simply go forward and press jump again (while still holding your sprint button) then you should do that special jump. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the guide, worked swell! Unfortunately when going to the last grace via the blood-path I died and lost all my runes, had roughly 800k stacked. Stupid of me not using them before I went there but for those whom haven't done this yet please make sure to use your runes after killing the boss so you don't loose them :) I did my invasion at Church of Elleh.

Still works, you just have to cheese the boss differently. Shoot him from outside with 50+ arrows until he staggers, then enter the arena and attack him with spells and arrows giving yourself about a 10 second window between attacks so not to stagger him again. (works best with bleed arrows). if he staggers again he will attack you

also not alot people talking about "with the birds if you keep failing go right some more from where he is at 10:57 if needed and all you need to do is shoot him and see him fall off once you see him falling you can walk bk to the grace. and remember you can get "Madness rare spawn verison of it" that gives 66k with golden scarab. happy farming (pc) also with the Jumping part i found it easyer to drop on the lower gravestone to the left and get close as i can hold space bar "sprint" and jump up on the gravestone and when i land on it i then hold W and jump. edit: i was having same issue with where most people were standing and bird wouldnt fall for me. so i moved right some more and 100% granted to fall.

Somehow, when i shot the crow / t-rex looking monstrosity behind the Mohgwyn Dynasty, it didn't fell off. It simply stopped at the edge and stared at me while strafing left and right. I shot it with your ranged weapon of choice in the video, I even shot it with the Horn Bow and the results stayed the same. It just won't fall. Why is that?

@@hourhour103 the crow only runs for a set amount of distance. If the crow is too far from the edge its "stamina" runs out and stops running. So you can wait till it gets closer to the edge but also shooting from the side the gives it less running space helps. The spot in the video is fairly close to the first baddie thats sleeping on the cliff edge
