Nekkra and Aaron, you are both incredibly skilled players but you are BY FAR my favourite commentators. You'll be talking about not just what's happening but speculating three or four steps ahead, putting yourselves in the mind of whoever is playing. The way you can identify the direction of a match really speaks to your skill and understanding of this game. And your genuine excitement when someone pulls off a crazy move or when some wild RNG happens is so relatable and so fun to hear on stream. It genuinely heightens the stakes of any match you guys commentate. I wish there was some way they'd let you do both because listening to you guys is one of my favourite parts of steam matches.

This is so true. The commentary at EUIC and Orlando regionals was really lackluster to me at least because I always have my expectations set to the commentary that Rose and Aaron did together at Charlotte regionals that Wolfe won. As experienced casters and really good players they provide good insight and speculation to each turn and that's what make the games feel more dynamic for the viewer.

One thing I like about the resistance system is that it encourages players to support their opponents after their matches and maybe even check in with them later in the tournament to see how their resistance is. I think it encourages players to be friendly with each other.

I had planned on entering the tournament for a while as I live in the UK but I thought I would be part of the Senior division, I then found I was only just over 1 month too old for the Senior division and the Masters division tickets had sold out I also lived so near to the venue so it hurt so much more not being able to go It's nice to see that the tournament was so big, but that just makes it so much sadder for me

It’s even worse in tcg where some people in day 2 got top 512 points bc there were that many people
@Dragonboy13008 ай бұрын
one of the things that got me tight about this tour was we were about 50 players short of hitting kicker for top 512 cp. this was my worst ever finish but ignoring that, very few 5-4 players got CP because of the kicker system. I kinda wish kickers were simplified to either all positive finishes, or you got x amount of CP per round won instead with top cut placements getting extra. idk.
@reema63228 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's the third time I got kicker'd out of CP, as we were just below 512 players at Stuttgart, Dortmund and Gdansk (though for me personally that did not matter at Stuttgart), not to mention the respective MSS at the events.

Can we all agree that Cornerstone Ogerpon is nuts, since it's sturdy you always want 252Atk/252Spe/Jolly which does immense damage with ivy cudgel to majority of Pokemon in the meta, one shots physically bulky Incineroar with rock Tera at -1.
@averageblader48838 ай бұрын
It is not, you said it yourself, it need to tera rock to ko incineroar at - 1, and even then incineroar itself can tera, and sturdy isnt that valuable because the opponent can just double target into ogerpon if it ever is too threatening, the rest of ogerpons just add way more value
