Just to verify, the same barrel will shoot both 9mm and 38 special? That's awesome! 👍
@TheWalkWithAl Жыл бұрын
They don’t recommend you shoot a 38 special through the 9 mm And as of right now, it only comes in a 380 or a 9 mm. But this is A lightweight little pistol, easy to carry and conceal but I’m saying with that lightweight frame, it really packed a Punch you Really want to be holding onto it?🤠 Always appreciate you watching my Friend You take care and have a wonderful day.👍👍👍👍👍

I have a Roughneck in a 9mm an a rough an rowdy in a 45 410 an like the weight an size simply because of helping on the recoil. The one your showing probably wouldn’t have that bad of recoil in a 9mm but one like it in a 45 410 I bet would get your attention!!! Mine will an I have the bigger grips that allows you to get a better hold before the boom. I have no trouble pocket carrying either derringer in a sticky holster etc

Looks good & should be fun to shoot. Maybe get a set of fancy grips from Premium? Evidently Heritage-Taurus lost my order for Birdshead Grips. Or the USPS. Nobody answers at Heritage so I called Premium & reordered in 5 mins. Good people. Hope you get to shoot soon.

@TheWalkWithAl2 жыл бұрын
One is lightweight more thinner It’s lite Weight Frame makes it easier to carry and I think it’s gonna be easier to shoot I don’t know how accurate it will be but that’s not what it was Made for just a back up gun

I'm not much on derringers... And while I'm sure that Bond Arms makes a fine gun, the price you pay for two rounds, in a somewhat bulky and heavy package has not helped... Up until recently, you could literally buy a Smith 642 and have 5 rounds, in a slightly larger footprint, with half the weight for what you'd spend on a Bond Derringer. But... This stinger line, has my interest peaked! Light weight, thin, half the price... May have to pick one of these up, just for the sake of owning it. Nice review Al!

Yes I like that ultra lightweight but I am concerned about the record since it is So light weight we could this weather clears will get out there and give it a try I appreciate you my friend thank you

After viewing this video, I went to the Bond Arms website. Now I'm not the most tech savvy/computer literate person on the planet, but I couldn't find the Stinger on their site. 😕 All the same, I'm covered for 9mm in a Bond Arms. My Grizzly Bear model in the Rough series came with barrels chambered for .410 bore/.45 Colt, of course. And I use that barrel for my snake gun. But back in the city, .45 LC could work for self defense, but it's hard to come by, so I bought the additional barrel chambered in 9mm. Now with that barrel, my Bond Arms Grizzly is my backup.

Al, I owned one before they became Bond Arms. It was chambered in .38. I took it the range and at 5 feet, fired 2 shots at my target. Missed both shots because the recoil was savage to me. Could hardly hang on the pistol. Fired only 10 shots and took it to work a couple of days later. Talked about how I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. A fellow co-worker scoffed at me and called me a pussy. I told him if he thought he could do better buy the gun from me and I'd just give him the box of .38 bullets for free. He bought it from me. Just charged him what I paid for it less the tax. A week later, we were working together and after work, he asked me to step over to car. He apologized for his remarks and handed me back the derringer and told me to keep what he paid me for it. He had learned his lesson. Since I didn't have to return his money, I figured to just let him keep the remaining bullets. I used the pistol then as trade in on a different pistol. The only way I'll have a 2 shot derringer is in 22mag or 22lr. For CCW I carry a Charter Arm .357, 5 shot, ported, stainless steel model. Much more pleasant to shoot than that Cobra. derringer.

I have been shooting a Bond Arms for a pretty good while now it takes a lot of getting used to I have done multiple videos on bond dorms in all different calibers I have learned to shoot them pretty well but it takes a lot of getting used to you’ve got to remember the bottom barrel is your porn or aim but they do have a Lotta Recoil and we will buzz your hand pretty good thank you for that wonderful comment and the information you had after shooting one Appreciate you watching thank you
@garyboyer80392 жыл бұрын
Cobra has nothing to do with bond arms. Cobra makes cheap little derringers. Bond makes expensive big derringers. Now Bond is making one not finished for less money and this polymer light weight one
@mrmann44 Жыл бұрын
I have a feeling you're talking about the Cobra Derringer. That "before it was Bond Arms" sounds very suspect. I shot the 45 Colt which is stouter than a 38 pretty pleasantly. Of course, it not a plinking round so I'll do 30 rounds at most per sitting.

I have the Bond Arms Grizzly in .410/45 LC, and I really love it for snakes. The light weight 9mm will be a good pocket gun ... if it is truly light .. as the Grizzly is a very heavy pocket carry. Thanks for another top notch video.

This one is ultra light when I picked it up at the shop I thought there was no gun in the box I hope that’s not a problem with the recoil But with the 9 mm it shouldn’t be too bad I appreciate you my friend thank you
