After Moon took control of Team Rainbow Rocket, she knew she’d need the Aether Foundation’s assists to begin conquering Alola. Lusamine had refused adamantly despite being held captive, so Moon was going to have her ‘removed’, by the next person in line, Lillie. Gladion had fallen in the battle to stop Giovanni, so Lillie, the person Moon loved the most, and the next in line to be Aether President, needed all the help she could get. Lillie, seeing the person she loved turning down a dark path, knew she had very little choice. Yet...she felt a bit of vengeance inside her heart. Moon handed Lillie a shiny Honedge. Moon: Do it. Kill her. Kill her now... Lillie: I...I shouldn’t...it’s not the Tapu way...please-! Moon! We can turn back! Moon: Do it! Don’t you want to be strong?! Lillie looked at her mother for one last time. She saw the terror in her eyes. Yet it inspired her in a strange manner. She used the shiny Honedge’s Sacred Sword to strike down Lusamine. Moon: Good...now, Mrs. Aether President, will you lend your support to the new Rainbow Empire? Lillie: Y-Y-Yes...” She then fell to her knees realizing what she had done...but, she knew that Lusamine did deserve it. Moon then embraced Lillie. Moon: Come, Lillie. Or should I call you Darth Aether? We will rule Alola, and the entire world-! Together, we will be the queens of the empire. Darth Aether rose, she nodded her head, knowing there was no going back. Besides, she wanted to be strong anyways...

It had been months since the Rainbow Empire had begun, now, they were threatening Alola with astonishing military power. Even the Kahunas were dumbfounded at how suddenly they had become powerful. Sun and Red, the strongest Trainers of the Freedom Aliance, were the last hope of Alola. If they failed, then the region would fall. It was a brutal fight just to get inside, many casualties on both sides, one that hit close to home was that of the young future Kahuna of Melemele Island, Hau. He sacrificed himself so that these two Trainers could get inside. Sun would do his best not to let his sacrifice be in vain. After fighting through the admins, Giovanni, Maxie, Archie, Ghetsis, Lysandre, Faba, and Guzma, they finally arrived at the throne room. Moon sat in her chair, looking disappointed. Red:...! Sun: I won’t forgive you for this! You caused Hau and Lillie to die! Emperor Moon: Lillie? Oh no, she’s still alive. Despite your efforts. Sun: What do you mean? Emperor Moon: Remember when you fought Darth Aether atop Wela Volcano? How you struck her down into the lava pits? Sun:...! No-that’s not true- that’s impossible! Darth Aether then proceeded to enter the room from another entrance. Darth Aether: I am here, my emperor, I shall dispose of these intruders. Despite the voice modifier, and how raspy it sounded at times, the two male trainers could tell it was a girl. She had a different armor than the last time they fought. This one was all black, bulky, and had a long flowing cape compared to the grey, thin and lightweight one from before. The helmet was the same design from before, looking similar to a knight helmet. Darth Aether took off her helmet, her face had several burn wounds on it, her blond hair had grown back, yes, but it was much shorter and not in a neat ponytail like before, still having singe marks at the ends. Her green eyes were red with hatred. Sun: NOOOOOOO! He knelt, devastated that the person he loved turned to darkness and hatred! Darth Aether put her helmet back on. She glared at Sun with rage. Darth Aether: Ever since we fought at Wela Volcano, I have been training every waking moment, for this moment. The one where I would claim my revenge on you. For burning me alive! Maybe I’ll remove *your* limbs this time! Sun: How could *you* turn to the dark side?! Emperor Moon: I showed her a path to power. She was weak before, but now? I think she could be stronger than you, ‘Champion’. Darth Aether: I will gladly destroy them, my emperor. Emperor Moon: No, my apprentice. You won’t be strong enough alone. We shall do this together-!
