Froppy is one of the character who received a buff in the most recent My Hero Ultra Rumble patch so I decided to finally check her out. On paper the change she got didn’t seem anything to crazy but after playing some matches with her it makes her feel significantly more consistent and fun to play. Yeah she's pretty good now, easier to use and thus more consistant. Between speed chars I'd say she's at least equal to ochaco if not better for consistent hits + fast easy res, depending wether or not you want range aoe vs res and stealth

I have a lot to write so get ready there's a lot in this vid that was great as a frog player I've realized all your frog matches end in a big ass finale😭 also when there's a compress I always think of that moment when u were playing as him in aquatic and that one froppy that hit you with one alpha then when to hell also another thing I feel like whenever u play frog and ur against Todo u get flashbacks to the finale with that one shoto also another thing I've found my new main.......MOMO I've played her before but after the cannon buff she's crazy so I lvl alpha gamma then beta use to be in order of A B then Y but since you can hit her from behind when shield plus you can roll past plus hit her out of it before she even starts makes it bad NGL also you and that Iida fr we're besties 😭and that's the end of my podcast seeya next time folks!

Honestly, now she feels in line with lida and uravity in terms of consistency. All three now have betas that essentially boil down to: get in range, press button, repeat. Not complaining tho, red deku sucks the life outta me to play well, and I hope he gets some quality of life buffs as well.

I'd want either armor for his gamma, some gamma beta combo potential, or an alpha that can charge up to fire more than 2 shots before a knockdown. As is, the most damage deku can do in one sitting is around 220 with two alpha shots, which is pretty bad considering all shooter characters can get full knockdowns while all melee characters either have combos, hyperarmor or good mobility.

As a froppy main I would say she is in a soild spot, I prefer to carry damage and reload card so I can be more annoying when diving in and out and in the new map with how vertical it is froppy can dominate with her mobility

They need to make it fair game for low mobility characters. For example Shigaraki - His Decay on ground jutsu if it touches any building, the whole building should get decayed. The enemy touches that building and takes damage. Dabi - Make Dabi's alpha longer range and his large flame circle jutsu should give damage in all of its area. Only the edges of that circle giving damage needs to change. Shoto - his running on ice jutsu should make him climb buildings as well. That's how it is in anime too. He has vertical mobility as well. These are a few examples, if all characters are suitable for new stage then it would be so much better.

Man I don't know what it is about Season 3 but Denki's Alpha doesn't feel right anymore used to be able to stun even at lvl 1 if they stood still for more than few secs but now it takes at least 5-8 sec(give or take more) if they're standing still. I've become a Ura Main until I get used to it

Froppy is my most hated character of any competitive game ever, so any season where shes top tier is a bad time, and ochako is the worst in the entire game now I finally dropped her, and they somehow STILL didn't nerf Kirishima, Todoroki, Mt Lady the only 3 characters that have ever been nerf worthy in the entire game besides old froppy & all might in my opinion. So this is just the worst season ever for me 🥲 I've been doing really well with Kendo at least, I was already great with her and now her shield is so much more consistent. She doesn't really have the movement I want though so I'm gonna have to wait till late season 4 when speed bakugo comes out to have fun again lol I really like the new map though. Hopefully I like twice. Also I'd like to clarify froppy definitely needed a buff but this is almost as bad as she was season 1.

I actually wanted to ask you how you were feeling about Ochaco since I know she was a character you previously mained. And yeah I was expecting some form of change to stuns or damage for characters this patch but looks like the devs have other plans.

@@CharismaticDemon_ I think lowering the beta size at 9 is understandable, but at ALL levels when she was already nearly unusable until 9 is kind of a mindblowing decision to me, and then the bigger issue than that is the start up time before you can actually hit anyone. I personally wanted them to give the opponent extra invulnerability time when knocked down, or knock them farther away so after the 3 hit combo it kind of safely resets back to neutral and the opponent has a chance to counterattack without getting juggled. The start up time though makes it impossible for you to defend yourself when you get knocked down, it's like a good full 2-3 seconds before it actually can start dealing damage and everyone can hit you before it becomes a threat. Plus before to do the full 3 hit combo for about 150 damage at 9 it took around 20% of her meter, so since average characters have about 550 total health, doing 600 damage just enough to get one KO would leave you with barely enough meter left to not get the long cooldown, now it takes about 35ish percent since you have a few seconds of useless spinning that does no damage, so you don't have enough beta meter to get 1 kill against a full HP average health character, you'll have to run away and wait for the cooldown then go find them again hopefully before they heal, or only pick 3rd party weak opponents. Which it kinda seems like that's what they want her to do because they also made her gamma huge, which I also dislike it's really annoying and she can play very lame and campy now lol I've already seen a lot of ochakos that only stay way up on the tall buildings and only spam gamma over and over on fights they see below for the entire match.

@@CharismaticDemon_ I think you could probably still do really well with her if you just ran around a lot and spammed gammas from high ground on the new map from far away now that it got buffed so much. That's so lame though, they sucked all the fun parts of her playstyle out I wouldn't want to do that kind of playstyle to make her viable. So far I'm liking Bakugo, Mt Lady, Kendo. I don't LOVE anyone yet this season though.

Still don't like her, all that high jump just makes it too much work to fight her,i watched a bakugo fight her and all he could land on her was his beta because of the aoe, thats the only thing that took her down
