You guys are an inspiration to me and many, many others! @@LucoreAuto I agree, you’re absolutely correct sir! Any and every change a person needs most definitely starts with one person and I feel that person is themselves!! We all have our lives that comes with their own set of personal challenges, goals, hardships, good/bad times etc. aside from that, I really like what you said about just doing your part to help out since you’re in a position to do so and I say that because as I mentioned earlier things and people aren’t how it/they used to be. Nowadays even if people are in a position to help they simply won’t for whatever reason it may be. Whether they’re salty about their position/state and yours, them not wanting to see you prosper/grow, they may not want to see you fall or do bad, but they definitely don’t want to see you do better than them, or just plain and simple hate!! I liked the simplicity of that build, i guess because the bare bones of it was in my range, now dart, dragon slayer, oliver rods, 18 degree heads, shaft rockers with a huge intake offset makes for huge runners with a straight shot, this joker is gonna breath. Better bottom end for more strength and better top end for more power, gonna be on another level now. Out of most peoples range, one thing i liked about the little truck was the fact it was running something most of us could afford to build, nothing crazy and it was fast. That was an accomplishment, its expected to go fast when you start throwing stuff like oliver and the like. I want him to go faster but im gonna miss the simplicity of the build/parts.

One thing that I learned and kind of surprised me at first was how little and seemingly insignificant a thing could make the difference between keeping it all together and breaking parts. We had to learn to ignore nothing and investigate the least little thing like one drop of fluid on the ground or a drive shaft that might be short (maybe a half inch). No matter how much you want to go racing, everything needs to be 100 pct. I get that things can happen during an event but that's a different decision.

When you guys redo the piping you should get a v band and get rid of that V band to T3 adapter and weld the v band onto the turbo... it'll be more efficient. You're having to make changes anyway and it'll be way cleaner and one last failure point. It'll cost you like 15 bucks and it might make it easier to redo the piping. Just get the right V band.

Watched from 12:00 to the end, thanks as always for the meat in that content. The dynamics and unique conditions running methanol are new to me. The cylinder death you speak of is not detonation as gasoline would produce under the same lean condition (??) but instead a form of pre-igniton before TDC (??). I ask because the piston tops show no sign of detonation that one would expect from a lean condition on gasoline. The methanol is a whole different animal in combustion dynamics. Know of any good reading on that? Thanks Steve
