The whole family, did you see the one video of where it all started, dad, go "ZOOM ZOOM" sending the old man as a kid straight back In the back seat, i did same with my son, but drifting, nosethrow, and handbrake to finish, now so shhhh, don't tell mammy, I wasn't even in the door and I could hear him telling her everything, I walk in innocent looking, no that's what the other car did, no daddy ,remember you said pull the handbrake now, REMEMBER?? IM LIKE SON, WHY??? so innocent, he just loved it, cars are easy to bond with with your kids, especially if they are interested too...
@Loki13M3 жыл бұрын
@@garyclarke2385 Had a similar experience with my oldest son when he was 8... I had a 87 Camaro at the time (5 speed manual, 305 w/a cam and headers is all) My boy asked me to teach him to drive so we pulled into a parking lot, I showed him the controls and set him in my lap for him to try. Just showed him the basics in the lot then he hopped in the passenger seat again and I demonstrated some 'advanced' driving... and let him yank the E brake a few times on my order. Few weeks later me the wife and both boys are on our way to the airport to take a trip... just as I am about to hop on the freeway my older son is explaining to the younger son about drift and e brakes... and reaches up to show his little brother how its done just as I'm accelerating around a corner to get on the on ramp... had my line lock button mounted on the e brake handle at that time ... the boy managed to pull the e brake and hit the line lock at about the same time, car went sliding sideways off into the grass at 50 mph... the wife was not amused... but both the boys thought it was the best thing ever.

@@EL00EL S-10's and Foxbodys are some of the best starter rigs for drag, good factory setups with quick and easy upgrades readily available. If your completely new to the game start there IMO. That said , everybody and their cousin has a fox or S-10. Any car will do as a starter, hell Sketchy's Garage is making a Gremlin into a drag car atm lol. My advice... find a car that 'speaks to you', something that just reaches into your chest and grabs ya. The more you love the car the more yer willing to work on it.
@albertgaspar6273 жыл бұрын
1) get good grades, get a good job, live within your means, learn enough about real estate to buy a foreclosed property where you can work on cars easily. 2) do your research and learn about cars. The front suspension of the S10 is shared with GM G bodies. The Fox body Mustang shares a lot with the Thunderbird. Knowing interchangeability helps keeps part prices down. "Speed costs, kid, how fast do you want to go" hasn't changed, but its the nickel and dime parts that add up. 3) don't re-invent the wheel. Everyone knows how to get a Chevy V8 to make power in specific cars--copy those formulas so you can practice your driving skills rather than spend time tuning an unknown combo.

I'd be happy if I could get my stupid 03 dodge dakota to go 0-60 in 20 seconds smh. The little 3.9 has lost some umphhhh, I changed the plug, wires, oil, flushed radiator, new air filter, always use a pint of Rosoline when I change my oil, and I need to get the new cap and rotor and see if that makes a difference. I know them 2 screws are gonna be a nightmare. What else can I do to a truck that has 215 K? It doesnt burn oil and seems to be a good little engine. I notice lately it feels like it wants to stall when I go from drive to park or to reverse. Almost like its not getting enough something. Wish I knew more about engines.

Vicky / Molly - Some advice on painting nails. - Always sand down to the bone with 800 grit. Prime 2 coats, then wet sand,. I recommend 2k Urethane surface primer, but use thinner. Once smooth, always seal the toes with a good sealer to prevent spotting. When you choose a base coat, High Pigmentation And Low Solids is always the best choice. Let is set, keep gun no more that 4" away. Then put a clearcoat over it, let dry for 12 hours, then clearcoat again. Best nail polish is at House of Kolor.

I think your off idle afr issues could be caused by running the wrong size power valve and/or PV restrictor. For a manual transmission Holley recommended taking the idle vacuum, fully warm engine and divide by 2 to find the power valve base hg. I know the cam in the 55 can’t be pulling 13-19hg at idle so there’s an issue trying to run a 6.5hg or 9.5hg. Then you start leaning out the idle bleeds to try and fix having the wrong power valve ends up in a mess sometimes.
